  • Improve Running Speed: Speed is a combination of stride frequency and stride length. The Byrdband Running Stride Trainer is designed to increase a runner's stride frequency by simply driving the legs down with a resistance band attached in the middle of each leg. This is similar to the drill "A skip and B skip" to improve running speed.
  • Improve Running Form: One of the most common errors with runners is over striding. The Byrdband Running Stride Trainer eliminates over striding by restricting the length of the stride with a resistance band attach just below the knee. This will allow athletes to work to improve their explosion, quickness, knee drive and increase stride frequency.
  • Strengthen Hip Flexor: A weak hip flexor can result in poor running form. This is very common among most young runners. The Byrdband Running Stride Trainer strengthens the hip flexor with a resistance band that provides resistance when athletes drive the leg up on each stride.
  • Simple and Easy: The Byrdband Stride Trainers can be attached to both legs above or below the knee. This will create resistance during drills or sprint workout.
