HOW TO USE?
1.Tune your guitar. This ensures the right tension is applied to the neck.
2.Make sure your neck is straight and adjust your truss rod needed.
3.Rest the ruler or string action gauge tool on the 12th fret.
4.Read the ruler from the bottom of the string.
5.Repeat this for any other string on your guitar you need to measure.

I ordered this to check the string height on my new acoustic because the action seemed a bit high. I was right. But this guage is really nice. I expected heavy plastic(I did not read the description) but it is steel, maybe even stainless. The only critique is that it is a bit rough as it is stamped out and has very sharp corners. I will file off the sharp corners and edges and this will be a great tool.

I don't expect I'll be using this gauge very often but when you need it, YOU NEED IT! This is much cheaper than having to pay for a set up.
