Everything went together as described, quality of the pole was as described - went up without any problems! We dug it into the ground by about six inches and packed dirt around it. Have hung lights and draped a sun sail over the top, hasn’t budged at all!

Purchased a few sets for a deck install. The actual installation was straightforward and can be done in just a few minutes. The poles are sturdy, however I did end up using the included wall mount brackets to attach it to my deck rail and provide extra support. I did this because I noticed when still adjusting my string lights that the pole would noticeably bend if I pulled it too taught.Included install instructions for wood mount, marble mount, and wall mount. There were also extra pole lengths included that push it beyond the advertised height if you decide to use them. If I had one complaint it would be that there is no mention of drill bit size to use so I ran a quick test on a 2x4 first before drilling into my deck... 3/8.

I bought these for lights but now they also hold up my patio cover! They are awesome!
