I have two large fly reels, and I hate the issue of the line always unwrapping in storage or transit. This solved the problem with my center pin rods. On and off, the tab makes it easy to grab.

picture is attached of 5/6 reel - 3.5" wide -- description states will fit 6/7 reel. Getting it on and off a 5/6 is tough though I am sure it will loosen up with time. Like the color and works well, but hard to get on and off. No way I could get this on a 6/7 reel.

This is perfect for for keeping your fly line from unravelling from the spool of your fly reel. I fish with multiple spools for my fly reel loaded with different types of line. These bands are a life saver and nicely keeps your line on the spool. Highly recommended for all fly fishers.

They work, but they are somewhat insubstantial in comparison to the line retainers that used to be supplied by the manufacturers of better quality new reels.

They work great. Better than the Rubber Bands that used to use. they dry out and break.
