This works perfect in our 2009 Cougar 5th wheel with bunkhouse! Our young daughters are finally in the bunkroom together and the 5 year is up top. She can easily climb up and down the steps even in the middle of the night and is not scared. It has thicker steps with rubber lining so it is non-slip. We tried it last weekend without permanently installing it, but just hooking it over the wood and it worked well, but I do see dents in the wood (probably from me climbing up it). We wanted to see how it worked and where we wanted it to be so we will permanently install it now for our next trip to the wood with the adaptor that came with the ladder. As a mom, I feel safe having my girls go up and down.

Sturdy and easily fits upright behind the drivers seat of our RV when not in use. Perfect height for climbing into over the cab bunk. Now, I just need to find a way to secure it when driving so it doesn’t tip over.

This is a good addition to our camper. We have the double-double bunks and the ladder is just the right height for the upper bunk. Seems to be strongly made. My 225lbs did not overtax the aluminum frame when I crawled up there myself. It can be mounted or comes with adequate hooks which are coated steel to reduce the likelihood of scratches to the furniture and makes the ladder portable. I do wish the steps could be installed at an angle so the foot would rest on the flat tread rather than on the edge of each step. I don't think the kids/grandkids will notice it, though. Rubber feet keep things from sliding around. Best price, fast shipping = Amazon.

Our double bunk travel trailer did not come with a ladder, so our grandchildren were vaulting into the upper bunk using the back of the banquet seats -- not very practical or safe. This ladder, which we CUT DOWN using a simple plumbers pipe cutter (or take it to a hardware store) to meet the right lean angle and length was a good solution. We reinforced the bunk edge that it would hook over, and it easily handled a 75lb ten year old. The hook tops were not wide enough to allow us to store the ladder over the bathroom door, and the bathroom door was not sturdy enough to attach the hangers, so we are currently laying it on the lower bunk when not needed. A good purchase and decent price.

The ladder itself appears rather flimsy, but seems to hold weight with no issues. My children primarily use it, but I am pregnant, and close to 200# now, and have no issues climbing on it.I purchased this ladder to use on the front side of a twin over full bunk bed. My girls room is shaped oddly, and the ladders built into the bed were both pinned against a wall. The hooks on this ladder fit nicely over the metal frame of the bunkbed, and it seems to be at a good angle. It just clears the lower full size bed. Because my children can't ever leave anything alone, I actually attached the ladder to the bed with cable ties so they are unable to move/play with it. Not the prettiest solution, but it works for now while we are in this house. The top bunk was unable to be used before, with the beds ladders covered, and this one solved that problem, so I count it as a success.

Sturdy ladder that looks great in our Winnebago Minnie bunkhouse camper. Followed the instructions to make the necessary (for us) cut-down adjustments for exact fitment. No problem. The instructions to complete the adjustments were straight forward and thus the result was a perfect fitting ladder. Our 4yo goes up and down this ladder with no trouble. The ladder stays in place very well. The ladder fits on the bunks or in storage when not in use. We love this ladder.

We just received our ladder, the box was extremely worn with a large amount of tape on the ends. Still trying to be optimistic, we opened it to find that that the ladder appears to have been used and the hardware was previously installed as well. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because of the condition of the product. We ordered new and this was NOT new.But this appears to be a great product -- sturdy, lightweight and it looks good too.

Perfect for our travel trailer with bunks. Has hooks so it stays in place but can still be moved for travel. My husband did have to cut a few inches off, but it sounds like that is the way it’s designed. My only concern is that it did not feel too sturdy when I climbed up it & I am 190lbs. I did double check the weight rating and it says the max capacity is 250lbs. I probably wouldn’t recommend this if it was for regular use for someone over 200lbs. Fortunately, it’ll be used by my kids, so that’s not really a concern for us.

Escalera de aluminio de muy buena calidad para subir la litera, con adaptadores para cambiar la altura y posición y soportes de fijación.

I used the larger hooks to hang the ladder on the rail of the upper bunk in my trailer. Once I followed the directions to get the proper length of the ladder it was easy to cut using a hack saw and mitre box. I had to cut 3 1/4 inches off the bottom of the ladder. Once hanging on the bunk rail the ladder seems sturdy. I weigh 150 lbs and I was able to climb the ladder with no bending or weakness in the ladder. The instructions do say the ladder will take 250 lbs when installed correctly. The steps are comfortable to walk on but the ladder has to be installed correctly in order to take advantage of the covering on the steps.

The ladder was exactly as stated, it's sturdy, the directions for cutting it were spot on. It arrived very quickly, and we were able to cut it to length( a tip, use a pipe cutter, and the edges are as smooth as can be, better than using a saw). The brackets for installation are sturdy. All in all we were very pleasantly surprised, especially as the ladder was not terribly expensive to buy. Would recommend, and would buy again if necessary.

Not the most solid structure, but it's light and does the job pretty well

Steps worked well in the RV. It was a bit tall for our bunk so we just cut 5 inches off the bottom.
