The manufacture of this holster is tough, tough, tough. I can tell by the feel of the leather that this will be on my belt for many many years. The opening is a good size, can fit many different types and sizes of cutters or garden shears and at the same time is deep enough and sturdy enough that my tool isn't moving, bouncing, or trying to fall out as I moved about throughout my work area and day. Not a bad looking piece of leather to have hanging from my belt either. A pretty handsome holster for being such a simple everyday item, but I'm partial and biased to good, rich, full-grain leather material and products I guess. Maybe it stems from being raised in the West or just in a rural area maybe, but I appreciate the look of the item as well as it's apparent resilience and toughness.

This Holster appears to be well made. I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I like the fact that they used metal washers on the back of the rivets to prevent them from pulling through the leather. The leather appears to be a bonded leather, very thick and stiff, and I expect will last a long time. I've only had it for a week, so too early to tell. I'm pleased with this purchase so far, and looking forward to many years of service from it.

I use this to keep my linesman pliers in while I’m doing electrical work. The leather is very good quality and this looks great on my toolbelt. It’s a good quality product and I know it will last a long time. I’d buy this again if needed.

While this item may be right for others, it just was too bulky for my personal needs. When getting in and out of my truck, I don’t want to worry about always repositioning this holder. It does what’s needed but I prefer not having to always rearrange moving in and out of a truck, while keeping my pliers on me.

This is a good tool holster. The leather is thick and the stitching is good, plus it's riveted as well so that it's not going to come apart on you.The back (which rests against your side) is sueded leather.The belt loop will accommodate a 2" belt easily, and maybe even a 2 1/4" but that might be pushing it a bit.The pocket will hold any standard size tool like pliers, nippers, wrenches, whatever. I show an open Leatherman in one of my photos, just for scale.I think it's well made and certainly seems sturdy enough for anything you care to throw at it.

I like the leather and it's been stamped well. Stitching is perfect throughout and rivets are set strongly. I like the rich brown color. It should hold pretty much any pliers you may have. There is plenty of room inside. I'd probably dedicate this to one particular set of pliers and let the leather shrink and form fit. I'd like to see the belt loop to be reinforced as that's where they tend to tear. Other than that, I can't think of anything that can be done to make it better. It's not perfect, but it's very close.
