First, do not do business with Northern Tool - if there are problems with your orders, they do not care. This item came through a FedEx nightmare. Item was shipped to the other side of the USA then brought back which greatly delayed receipt of this product. Attempts to contact Northern Tool were useless, they never responded. And the FedEx driver who delivered the product trespassed on areas of our property that were marked to not enter. Now on to the product itself. This is a bunch of junk. There are pre-drilled holes in the metal to attempt to put it together - which do not line up and have to be made to fit. Forget trying to send it back - the assembly was too complicated to disassemble - so we basically wasted a great amount of money on this product. Is a horrible mess.

This order was the third IDENTICAL unit we have ordered. I am a car show DJ and we use this product to roll-up a 2,000 feet of sound cable on two units and four (4) 100' heavy duty extension cords on the other unit. The first two units had a SPRING-LOADED handled that returned to the up-right position when released. This is an important issue, as we store these three carts in our car club trailer, and space is at a premium. I actually modified the first two units with two plates of steel that fit the frame and a bearing assembly retrieved from the salvage yard from an old custom van with captain chairs that swivel. This simple change allows the rotation of the roller assembly with laying-out or picking-up the cables. With this rotation, one person can just walk to the line and the cable just rolls off the reel on to the ground. Then when fully loaded, just rotate back to the original cart design that puts the roller back inline with the wheels. No issues with top-heavy balance.The last unit received, although PICTURED AS THE SAME as the two previous carts, this unit WAS NOT the same. The handle falls on the ground/floor, just like the cheaper carts. VERY DISAPPOINTED in the loss of this feature, but remain somewhat happy with the heavy duty cart.The new modern day manufacturing/sales/delivery company mission statement...CHARGE MORE, BUT DELIVER LESS, CUSTOMER BEWARE, AND INCREASED PROFIT MARGIN!!!
