About this item

  • Grade 5 and 9mm Thickness: Our strut spring nuts are made of higher strength steel: grade 5. The thickness is 9mm, which is stronger than traditional 6mm nuts and can withstand greater tensile forces.
  • Premium Spring: Our channel spring nuts use thicker 1.57" (40mm) springs, which are more resilient, and the length of the springs hardly change even with repeated extreme compression.
  • Thickened Galvanized Layer: The thicker galvanized layer, even after many years, our c channel nuts with springs will still be as bright as ever after being wiped clean, and can be reused completely.
  • Precise Thread: The threads of each of our strut channel nuts conform to the American 1/2"-13 UNC standard and are self-aligning with alternating teeth, As the pressure increases, no side slip occurs at all.
  • Perfect for Unistrut Channel Struts: Our strut channel nuts used to mount and connect structural loads such as pipes, electrical equipments, air conditioning, data wire, junction boxes, ventilation and other mechanical systems.

Grade 5 Strut Channel Nuts - 30 Pcs

Perfect for Strut Channel

The thickness of the common strut channel nuts on the market is generally 6 mm, when you need to install tighter, or greater tension, the 6 mm is not enough.

This 9mm grade 5 spring nuts launched by us can withstand greater tension and with greater margin.

The shape of the alternating teeth are improved, and the function of self-aligning is further improved.

  • 30 Pcs, 9mm and Grade 5 - higher strength
  • Thicker 1.57'' (40mm) Spring - more resilient
  • Thickened Galvanized Layer - better antirust
  • Precise Thread - 1/2''-13 UNC
  • Perfect for Strut Channel

TH

Strong connection

The spring and nut are crimped to make the connection more reliable.

弹簧

These seem to be very well-made. Each of them looks machined the same way. They work well. Each of them fits into place fairly easy—just have to make sure the spring is in the right place.

I needed some strut nuts for building a frame and these came in handy. For the price, way cheaper than buying at any hardware store where they cost an arm and a leg. These spring nuts are the thickest ones I have ever used. Probably not necessary, but you will always have peace of mind, not matter the project. No problems with them, easy enough to install into struts, and cheaper than the cones.

These springs channel nuts seem fine with one caveat. The quality looks good and it works like you would expect it to unless you're using the smaller profile Unistruts, (the 13/16" height rather than the squarish, 1 5/8" height). These nuts are a bit thicker than normal ones. They point this out on their Amazon page. I guess this would make them stronger (although I've never had the normal, thinner ones break). But, this extra thickness when combined with the spring makes it physically impossible to fit into the small height Unistruts (13/16"). They will still work but you'll need to clip off part of the spring. Not a huge deal but something you should be aware of.

Got these for a homebrewing rig that I am building. Overall, nuts are nuts are nuts - equal quality if not better than the name-brand nuts and a better deal. Springs can be hate it or love it depending on what you're doing but for my uses they were fine and the spring is easy to clip off with snips if you don't want it.

As far as I’m concerned, these channel nuts are identical to big name variants that you’d pick up at a distributor or big box store, but at a much better value. Same thickness, good threads, proper springs, they do what they are meant to do.The 1/2 inch size is exactly what you need for any strut brackets, and these worked flawless in setting up the struts for an electrical panel build. Unless you have a build spec that – for whatever reason - demands a certain brand, these are definitely a worthy purchase.

If you can plan ahead, buying these over big-box store prices can really help. They look all the same, only difference is that the spring isn't covered so they tend to tangle in the box. Not terrible but can be annoying if you're trying to get them out fast. I also use the 3/8 versions and happy with them.

Does not come with the bolts, so, select your additional hardware appropriately. The zinc finish seems a bit rough but I don't think that would affect the final application.

Good threads and work fine
