This is a really good purchase. I have found that all of the thirteen pieces are valuable when working with my succulents. The little instrument that'll blow dirt off a plant is surprisingly powerful, and really works, even in tight spaces. The instrument that you can use to cut/clip a stem is very sharp and makes a clean cut. The small lime green "scoop" works well. It holds a good amount of soil and is a good size for succulents, so it fits into appropriate size planters/terrariums used for these kinds of plants. Plus, unlike a spoon, it doesn't spill the soil as I transfer it from its container to a planter. The little brown scoop is really great to transfer small amounts of soil.As for the tweezers, they really come in handy. They hold small pieces, leaves and stems without damaging them. I particularly like the offset pair (shown in picture #2).The two blue instruments are really great (you can see how one works in pictures #1 and #3). The other is wonderful to use when putting a new cutting into soil. I used to try and do that using a wooden skewer, and now it is so much easier. It makes the right size hole, and works well to push the dirt against the stem of the cutting, so it'll stay in place.The only things I haven't used are the three wooden handle tools that resemble full size garden tools. I do have to say though that I remember seeing them at my local dollar store.Even considering that, for the price, these 13 pieces are worth buying.

I've recently started growing succulents as indoor plants and needed a simple toolset to help with that and this set has some neat components that definitely make my life easier (and cleaner!) when working with them. The most valuable to me have turned out to be the scoop/shovel for handling soil in a more precise way as well as the transplanting tools and seed dibber as it can often be tough to get into tight spaces, especially with some of my Echevarrias. The weakest part of the set is the tweezers as the two pairs included don't have a lot of spring to them and are smooth at the tips, but they are better than no tweezers at all. The rake and mini-spades are nice to have as are the dusting brush and bulb blower for the inevitable post-potting debris/clean-up that's always needed. For the price, it's a good value for what you get and I'm happy to have this little bag of tools to make my indoor gardening life that much easier.

I made the decision to grow from seed this year - last year, when I saw the super high prices on flower and garden veggies at the garden centers. I have enjoyed the process but was struggling using kitchen utensils to tend and trim my plants. These are just perfect in both size, quality, and function. A bargain too! Just what I was looking for! This little kit comes in a box (great for storage) and provides all the tools you need to take care of your small - medium container plants. Small enough to get into tight spaces, sturdy and easy to handle. I purchased one kit for myself and two more for friends.

This is a handy kit filled with well-designed tools for houseplants. They appear to be durable and easy to keep clean. I look forward to using the poker thing to pot my propagations and small plants! Very functional. I would gift this to a fellow plantaholic, if I knew one! Each tool has a purpose... And the larger your collection grows, the more you'll find you have use for each of them! Perfect gift for the planty person in your life!

For the price point this is an excellent little set which I have already used several times. Everything works perfectly so far with no issues. There is a tool for everything. The quality is better than what I expected for the price. I would purchase this set again with no hesitation.
