They are soft yellow and have 8 different settings. Three AA batteries are needed. Remote control included. Great product for decorating.

We LOVE these!! Bought them to hang over my daughter's bed.....It is so great that they don't get hot! She can read at night and we can turn the brightness up and down. Really handy to have remote....lets us turn the lights off (if she falls asleep readying) with out waking her up. Also, they are cute looking. The little balls are a little smaller than a green grape and look pretty classy.....different than the usual twinkle lights.

This is the nicest warm white I've seen in LED lights. I had a flickering issue, but I found a fix. I had a heat problem, but that was fixed with an exchange. I highly recommend using an adapter with this set of LED lights.Update 2: OK got the new set, it doesn't heat up, so the heating up USB problem is a separate issue from the flickering. It did continue to flicker on dimming or slo-glo mode. BUT I fixed it. Turns out, it just needs an adapter and then it's fine. If you plug the USB straight into anything, it might flicker, and probably it will flicker. But if you use a USB to AC adapter and plug it into the wall, the flicker goes away because (from what little I've read about it) the adapter converts AC to DC and that allows the LEDs to refresh at a higher rate. So buy a pack of USB adapters and see if it doesn't fix the flickering issue for you too.Update: There may be something wrong with the USB, I'm going to exchange it and if it happens again I'll return it. The USB is hot while using. So that's probably why it flickers so much. Maybe they used some cheap component or maybe it's not 5V but more than that and it's overheating? Don't know. But I can't use it hot.Update 2: Suddus has excellent customer service. They reached out and made clear that they weren't trying to change my review, just that they wanted to offer me a refund since I wasn't satisfied. There's a snowstorm and the replacement I requested won't be here until next week, so I asked them to wait until I can see if the USB of the new one is OK or not. The level of "warmth" in the warm white of the globes is very nice. It's the nicest warm white of any of the three globe strings I've tried. So I hope I can keep it. I doubly hope the slo-glo fade works without flicker.Original review:They're very pretty warm white lights but the only setting that's reasonable to use is steady on. The flashy ones are brutally flashy, except maybe the half on / other half on switcher mode (3 I think). The fade ones are flickering, and if you dim it at all (it has a four step dimmer, not 10 step), it flickers constantly, not candle flicker, but stutter flicker like a bad light bulb.OTOH they're absolutely gorgeous warm white bubble lights about the size of a dime each. The picture is perfectly accurate. The remote control was a little tricky. After the plastic tab was removed, it wouldn't work. So I opened the battery panel thinking, maybe there's no battery. But there was. So I pressed down on the area where the battery is. And the remote worked. Some remotes are like that. They have bad connections and you have to press them.There's magic in the formal look of the steady on mode in warm white. You could decorate the most upscale home with these and it wouldn't look out of place or cheap.

UPDATE: So, they do not hold your settings after going off. And, the remote has a very weak IRQ, you have to be right on top of it for the USB ti read a change. They're going back.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Cute lights and 46 feet with tight spacing was great for my fence on the pond. Quality appears to be pretty good. The wires are encased in plastic and were not fragile to install. They did not tangle badly while I figured out where and how to install. Too soon to tell how long they'll last or if the light will fade.The bubbles have a real white light, not blue white like LED light and not Soft like an incandescent bulb.Light Settings: Nothing in the literature to tell me what number was what blink. I viewed another of their products and that one had those details. There were only 1-2 blinks that I liked, that's enough though. Others settings were too loud, frenetic for my subtle taste.Dimming is irrelevant for my outdoor install, just kept it at the default.Remote: I thought it wasn't working because I wrapped it very tight in plastic wrap and a zip lock to keep it dry, my install had the power right next to my lawn sprinklers [Florida]. Keep this in mind if you buy - the lights are outdoor but the usb connector I used was not. Less plastic worked to allow the timer "eye" to read the remote switch.Timer: Just installed y'day. I'll know if/when they go on tonight.Overall, I love these little cuties. They would be perfect for a party too! Hope they last.
