This is a faux suede blazer, it is well-made and the fabric is a rich deep chocolate with a soft feel. Nicely lined in a matching acetate (silky). Quality buttons and good tailored stitching. However, it looks very faux suede, more like a light weight velvet. So I'm returning it because I ordered a M (5 3" 150 lbs) and it is huge in the shoulders with very long arms. Nice jacket, just be sure to size down.

This jacket has an oversized fit overall but I would not size down. I sized down and will be returning for my regular size because it was too tight in the arms. I’m 144 lbs and medium will fit best. Otherwise great material and quality.
