I have used this valve for a full wood splitting season now, splitting over 50 Rick of wood. This is used on a homemade splitter just built using a 12.5 HP engine, 11GPM pump and ram from a 3point hitch splitter.Regardless of other negative reviews, this is an extremely high quality product. It’s built very well and works smoothly. It’s heavy material, the valves are tight and I can’t imagine any defects unless just not installed properly and adjusted if needed due to pump variations.I would highly recommend this valve.

Replaced my leaking log splitter valve with this high quality 4-way valve. Return function does not work, though. May need adjustment.

Cannot set the return. Had it at a hydraulic shop and they could not get it toShut off on the return. Kills motor ??????????

I mounted this on my log splitter cylinder and the detent only works in the extend position which is dangerous and opposite of what it should. Help me please!
