When you follow the instructions and install it correctly (learn from my mistakes) this footrest is a must! Instructions are not very detailed but easy to install just make sure you don't have it installed upside down before drilling for the rubber mounts (I was in a rush to get it installed before an afternoon hunt)🤣. Makes the stand very comfortable with added foot room for the price! Hope this helps!

I bought a Viper SD a while back and decided I wanted the footrest as I hunt for long periods at a time. Upon removing the product from the box I noticed that it already had a small shiny scratch in the paint. I can overlook that since it was bound to happen eventually. I did however notice that the pain coat on the product wasn't even and there is a very light spot on the footrest that was not coated all the way. Again, I can overlook this. This little footrest costs quite a bit for what it is and I love having it regardless of the quality issues. It attaches easily and the hardware is quality. The screw went in easily for me and did not have to be pre-drilled at all. I would recommend this product to anyone who uses a Summit, but I would let others know if you experience any of the same quality issues that I did.

This product is really nice for long sits during the rut. My feet get restless if I can’t stretch them out a bit. This extender is perfect.For installation, you have to use the provided self tapping screws to install brackets into the stand. There are no predrilled holes on the stand. I ended up using a tape measure to make sure my brackets and rubber stoppers lined up. You may also want a socket wrench for the bolts. One of mine had a flaw with the threads so I had to use 1-2 Ugga Duggas with my impact driver.

I "misplaced" the old one off my ViperSD...this is an exact replacement. Easy to put on....adds hours to my sit by keeping me comfy and feeling secure.

Abgesehen davon, dass der Preis dieses Artikels binnen weniger Tage um 20-25 Euro schwankt, habe ich nach einer Lieferzeit von über einem Monat ziemlichen Schrott geliefert bekommen: Nicht nur, dass der Bügel korrodiert und überlackiert ist, die mitgelieferten Stop-Schrauben sind auch defekt und lassen sich nicht verwenden. Ich soll also neue Schrauben besorgen, den Bügel abschleifen und neu lackieren und das bei knapp 50 Euro Kaufpreis. Als Lösung bietet Amazon nur Rückgabe an: Das ist besonders toll, denn für die Montage musste ich sowohl meinen eigenen Sitz als auch den gelieferten Bügel wie in der Gebrauchsanweisung dargelegt anbohren ..... So etwas bestelle ich NIE WIEDER bei Amazon.

I would give it a 5 star but paint quality is not the best (just like the stands) and price is hefty for what it is. All it is is a piece of aluminium and some bolts, but I suppose you pay for comfort!I am happy with it on my Viper SD.More detailed:Really easy to install, all you need is a drill/impact with a phillips bit, 7/16 wrench/socket and a cresent wrench works to hold backup. Took about 10-15 minutes to install.I like how it folds over and it will be a great accessory for the stand without much added weight, being able to sit in comfort for long periods of time will be worth it! (Could be folded over all the way flush to the platform if I would move the plastic climbers up more)Paint quality is lacking, some spots show bare aluminium right out of the box, nothing that can't be touched up in the off season with some self etching primer/paint, tho still a bit of a let down... Summit claims to have durable powder coating but reality is different unfortunately.The foot rest seems solid right now, tho the brackets that screw into the frame of the stand are attached with A self taping screw, -we will see how long it stays tight, might have to end up giving it a couple of small welds if the screws ever back off, because 2 small self tappers is all that holds the foot rest to the platform.Happy with the purchase anyhow.
