This kit is way better to use than the cheap rope that comes with these shades. It made my life way easier and it secured the shade far better. The installation is pretty straightforward and I had no issues. This that I bought was cheaper than the box stores so that is a win in my book. I would definitely buy it again.

This kit worked great for the installation of our new 16 x 20 sun/shade sail over our 3,300 gallon Koi pond. The kit had everything I needed to tightly hang my large sail plus some pieces left over that I will use in other projects. The coated stainless steel wires and other components in the kit are very strong and easy to work with. A few days after I installed the sail we had heavy winds 20-40 miles per hour with gusts to 45 mph. The sail had no problem staying attached. A few weeks later we had thunderstorms with strong winds and heavy rain totaling over 6 inches total overnight. The sail did form a belly from the weight of the water when the rain was the heaviest but the water wicked on through and the sail returned to its former shape as the sun dried it out. A large limb fell out of a tree close by and put a 'dent' in the sail but that went away in a few days. I attached the sail to two 4 x 6 posts on the west side 2 feet higher than the 2 posts on the east side for a slanted look. I may decide to increase the slope another foot or more. We like the slanted look but can see how having the peaked look where two opposing post are high and the other 2 are lower making a diagonal ridge like a roof ridge would be better in shedding rain. This kit does the job very well and proved to be strong and durable. GOOD BUY!

This kit comes with everything needed to hang up a sail shade, it works good but the clamps that hold the cables in place are a little weak, two separate occasions they have failed but both times was a thunderstorm with high winds so I probably should have taken it down anyway

I've had this kit up for about a month now. I have used the knuckles, cables, and carabiner. So for they have held up to the weather. I did double clamped the cables just for my piece of mind. I'm in socal, so extreme weather isn't much of a factor. So far the hardware has not seen heavy winds, snow, or rain.

My first impression is that its a Very good kit. Well organized, instructions are clear, hardware looks like stainless. I live near the coast so it's it's got iron in it, I'll know soon. So far everything looks good. Hung my sail panel by myself in about an hour.

Though this product was rather easy to use in the installation of my sunshades, it proved not to be strong enough. We haven't had any real concerning wind and one of the turnbuckles has broken in half. This after just a few weeks of use. Now I have to figure another way to rehang that corner of the sunshade.
