I’ve purchased many ‘plush’ electric blankets over the years but they’re thin & barely cover the wires.This one IS actually very soft & ‘thick’ as far as electric blankets go. Very happy & definitely recommend!

I have two now. One at my table & one at my desktop computer. Saved my winter nights!My cat has clawed it quite a bit, bringing white tufts to the surface - but seems to be no danger of harming him.I'm happy with this product.
