This pattern booklet has complete instructions, and templates for making a Sunbonnet Sue and/or Suspender Sam baby quilt, lap quilt, twin, double or wall hanging. It is extremely well done. I’m doing my own variation and I’m not finished yet but it is so adorable! I was nervous about making this quilt since I’m inexperienced at appliqué but this pattern made it easy and fun.

I new at quilting and Quilt ina Day Sunbonnet Sue Visits Quilt in a Day by Eleanor Burns gave the most and easiest instructions for making a simple quilt for a beginner that I have found so far. Quilt in a Day Sunbonnet Sue Visits Quilt gives all the information that includes picking out co-ordinating color schemes, how to make templates and how to use them on the fabric in the most economical way, little templates were included for the excessories and information on the embroidery stiitches suggested for the peices made, and sewing instructions if you are unfamiliar with using a sewing machine. If you follow the "Quilt in a Day Sunbonnet Sue Visits in a Day and you are a beginner you may not be done with your quilt in a day but you will have a quilt when you follow the instructions and get to the last page of this booklet.

I've just received the pattern book and have not had a chance to start the project. But looking through all the directions, etc. it looks like I will be able to do the project with little of no problem. Eleanor Burns patterns, etc. are easy to follow.

Very simple and easy to understand sewing instructions with pictures for those who are beginners. I am a beginner at sewing and was able to make my first Sun Bonnet Sue quilt that turned out adorable.

Useful book, good size patterns to copy, Ideas for use of materials and clear how to instructions. Added bonus of patterns etc for Sam her 'boyfriend' as well.

Les livres commandés correspondent tout à fait à ce que j'attendais. Les gabarits et explications sont claires même si je galère un peu avec l'anglais et leur système de mesure!!!Dans le livre "Sunbonnet Sue" j'aime beaucoup la possibilité de moduler la taille du quilt à partir des blocs. Réaliser ce quilt va être un vrai plaisir.
