Our incentive to replacing the lights were the old ones used a lot of electricity and the lighting was poor quality. In our case removing old lights involved removing the trim and the light bulbs and in some cases this took a lot of effort. The installation of the new lights took 2 minutes at the most and the lighting was great! Highly recommend these lights.

These are fantastic lights. So easy to install. They look great and they flush with the ceiling. I put them all up 18 of them in about 20 minutes.

These are very consistently made, and I had no issues installing all 24. The springs do a good job of holding them into the old cans. The baffles stay flush to the ceiling and have shown no signs of drooping over the last several months since installing. My only complaint is that in the absence of a proper LED controller, some flicker is occasionally noticeable in our setup. This is not unique to these lights on our system, because we have rural electric power that is not as clean or consistent as we had in a metropolitan city. However, the flicker is more noticeable in an LED light than in an halogen or incandescent. A more expensive setup may include an LED controller that smooths the out the frequency fluctuations in the power which lead to a noticeable flicker. To be clear, it is not a constant flicker or strobing effect, but a small rapid flicker lasting less than a second each time due to fluctuations in our electric utility service.

I couldn’t recommend these Sunco LED Inserts enough. I ordered the 24 pack, but only needed 20 so I have 4 extras for future use. I installed all 20 in about an hour. They are all installed on dimmer switches and none of them flickered, not even once. I let my wife choose the brightness which she appreciated and we know have maintenance free recessed lighting throughout the house. If you’re on the fence about purchasing these lights, just do it. The most inexperienced person could install them with a ladder and basic understanding of the concept. If you don’t completely understand there are lots of YouTube videos to help you.

Takes about two minutes to install; just remove the old light from the can, screw the adapter into the old socket, choose from the three light settings and snap into place. Can’t beat this price at the big box stores.

This pack of lights was a great value with speedy delivery. My old ones that burnt out were older and didn’t have multiple settings for brightness and color. Love these new ones I bought!!! Thanks
