The product delivery was quick and it was packaged well and arrived without damage. The instructions are easy to follow and illustrated well. There is information on testing the unit on the back page which is important so be sure to keep the instructions somewhere safe if you ever have to do any troubleshooting. The solar panel is quite solid and the brackets are well made. Installation went without a hitch and the SAE cable connectors are very nice to work with. I made one slight modification on Step 6 where a set screw is tightened (otherwise the unit may fall) where I put a drop of Lock-Tite on the threads just to be sure that any mounting vibration would not result in the loss of the unit. The indicator lights are nice and again keep the instructions so you know what different flash or illumination patterns mean. It was a cool, overcast day when I installed this unit and it still showed that it was charging the battery.Have not had it long enough to evaluate its ability to charge a system over an extended period of cloudiness but I am hopeful it will work out fine.Would buy another one if the need arose.

I have waited a year to review this product and I am happy to say that it is performing as advertised in a coastal environment. Beginning to see some light rust on the adjustable stand where water and salt spray pool. Repainted with cold galvanize to see if it can be stopped. The frame on the solar panel is in great shape which I did not expect given how fast aluminum corrodes in this environment. Have brought it indoors during hurricane conditions so cannot say how it would fair in high winds. It survived some 40 knot conditions during a freak storm. It is keeping a group 27 marine 12 volt battery at full charge. The LED feature is handy to determine if the device is properly hooked up and working.

There's a lot of bang for the buck with this unit. To power my telescope I use (2) six volt sealed lead acid batteries used in series for 12 V to power a simple cooling fan and a small computer (DSC) used to find astronomical objects. After a night of viewing, a small (12 V, 10 Watts) solar charger is the perfect way for me to recharge the batteries while I sleep during the day. This little unit comes with a built in charge controller (you buy this extra on a lot of solar panels) This maximizes the charging cycle and prevents nasty things from happing. For example short circuits, overcharge protection (turns off when battery fully charged), parasitic back charge (power back to the panel when not illuminated) and will not charge an inadequate battery. I had a personal issue with my battery being bad and the unit not working. I reached their technical service department by email and John was great at helping me resolve the issue. Tested the unit with new batteries and it worked perfectly. The instruction sheet was missing the information that would have been useful for identifying how the unit would act trying to charge a bad battery. Things do get lost in translation sometimes. Bottom line, Excellent unit, Excellent customer service!

The stand that holds this 10 watt solar panel is nothing short of excellent. It was a little tricky to set up in part because the directions are a bit confusing. They mention what the parts are but they don't quite explain which part goes where in an easy to understand manner. This may seem silly to them but this is not my first rodeo when it comes to setting up solar panels. The best part of this is how easy it is to arrange and secure the direction the panel needs to be facing. This is not easy with some fixed bracket systems. This gets around all of that. I set this up on the railing to my porch facing due south at an approximate 30° angle. The battery is being charged beautifully. If they ever come up with a 25 watt solar panel with the same bracket I would easily buy two to three more. To me the support bracket is the major selling point. The ball joint that they've included is not cheap by any means and holds everything perfectly still. It comes with an allen wrench that allows the user to fix it in place exactly where you think you'll get the most sunlight. I still may buy another one but I just wish the panel was at around 25 watts.

I use these on my ghost gate openers. They are perfect. Not so big they look out of place. All in one so no charge controller needed. Comes with 3 different styles of battery connections. Eyelets, bare wire, or battery clamps.

Does not work. Does not charge even in full sunlight. I cannot get a return or replacement. Crickets from Amazon and Suner. Seems to be well built, but defective in charging my battery. I cannot get anyone to respond for a return or replacement.

hooked this up to my deep cycle battery, the battery sat for the Winter, it charged to full capacity in about 1.5 days in poor sunlight.
