Sunlite High Pressure Sodium lamps are a long-life replacement for your existing HID fixtures. This 35 watt bulb puts out a bright 2250 lumens of light. It features a medium base (E26) and long 16000 hour average lifespan. Standard ED17 bulb shape with clear finish. Use in street lights, parking lot fixtures, perimeter lighting, and other commercial and industrial lighting applications. ANSI Code S55. Bulb measurements 2.18 inches diameter, 5.3 inches tall.

I purchased this Sunlite High Pressure Sodium Light Bulb as a replacement based on pricing, this was a mistake. This Sunlite bulb failed out of the box. I had replaced the igniter and photo cell due to their age in a very sturdy enclosure I intended to reuse. The Sunlite bulb cycled constantly (on/off) during the evening. I replaced the Sunlite with a GE Lucalox and no more cycling problems. Be advised that the GE bulb was more than twice the price of the Sunlite, but worth it.

I got these light bulbs and made lams for the living room and bedrooms, they only use 35w and give you a lot of light, anyways I don't like the fragile cfl, and I found these to do a great job and save me money, I recommend these light bulbs to anyone who wants an energy efficient alternative.

At the time I ordered, I was quarantined with Covid. So being able to order what I needed was very helpful. It was the correct size and wattage.

Our outdoor light turns on automatically at dusk and off at dawn, and the Home Depot ones I normally buy last for years. This Sunlight bulb started flickering and then became non-functional after six months.Could be a bad bulb, bad lot, or just poor quality altogether.Cannot recommend this brand because of the very short longevity.

Where else can you find a specialist bulb like this for this price?Update. Nov 24Bulb started flickering after about a year. I contacted them and they sent a replacement via UPS at no charge. Excellent!
