I bought this for my 8 year old. Although it seems small to him it works great. It is very realistic with a moving chain, sounds, and removable battery pack. It does not comeWith a battery charger but the battery pack can be removed to change batteries when needed. Great price and value. It’s been durable so far.

Awesome little toy prop for a Halloween costume with a nice and loud chainsaw sound and motion. My dog hilariously growls at it, so it must be intimidating lol.

I like this toy chainsaw for several reasons:Pros:Producing a realistic gas engine sound and a decent low/mid-level sound volume.Safe moving rubber chain that moves at a decent slow speed, considering its made for children so its not moving at a dangerous speed.Included the AA batteries installed already.Light weight, so easy to carry.Cons:It has a gas engine sound but has a realistic removable battery. That doesn't make sense for educational aspect to a young child.It doesn't look as realistic as for the colors on the body.The handle seems a bit flimsy so the handle could break off depending on how a child handles it. At least my unit arrived loose.$20 is a little high to me. Fair price would be $16 in my opinion after all said above.My purpose was used for a Halloween costume prop.Note: box states for ages 5+

I was a little concerned about the size of this when I ordered, but it’s a great fit for my 4yo (35lb) and we especially love that it has a battery pack like our real tools do to make it work. He’s really enjoyed playing pretend with this and things it’s great that the chain turns.

I bought this for my grandson and he was so excited to get it. But when we took it out of the packaging we could hear rattling noises, and that is never good. Sure enough, the battery pack sounded like it had loose parts rattling around inside it and the start button on the side was missing. Could be inside. My little guy was so disappointed. Nothing about this toy worked.
