This thing is BUILT! Way better than the thin piece of junk that originally came with my burn out. Well worth the money. Only down side is that I didn’t realize it wasn’t as tall as my old one, but it’s well worth the purchase!

Got this screen cover for the fire pit in March 23. The 40†screen fit our fire pit great and all was good. It has been under a cover the entire time that it has not been used. Now that the temperature is cooling off I took the cover off to get the fire pit ready to use and there are holes rusted through the screen mesh already. I was not expecting that. Especially at $239. I expected it to last more than one year. The company says it has a one-year warranty. I got their voicemail so I left a message inquiring about their warranty for this fire pit screen. Once I hear back from them, I will update this review.Update - Their customer service called back the next day and they are replacing it. She said that, even though I had a cover on it, the moisture in the air in from the ground caused the rust that it needs to be stored in a dry place. The new one is going to be stored in the garage :-) their customer service was awesome. Thank you!

I looks great, is sturdy and fits well, but has areas of heavy rust and peeling paint that would require a grinder to remove. Right out of the box. It will be out in the weather anyway but thought the finish would be a little better. Update-After a year in service, directly in the weather, there has been no increase in the rust. This cover gets hit by the sprinklers regularly and is holding up far better than I ever expected. I don't know what caused the initial blemishes, but they have not increased in size at all.

Well made and handles the flames/heat without deforming or ending up like a piece of rubber. One suggestion when building your fire pit: Leave an extra half or full inch between the steel liner and the block or stone your using for perimeter. If you're like me you won't build it with a perfect radius and this cover isn't perfect round (although close). I put pea gravel between my segmental block and steel pit liner for this space and it worked well.

Sturdier than expected. Have not exposed to repeated heat yet hence the three stars at this time. Time will tell.

I lost the mesh lid for my fire ring when I moved and made sure to measure the diameter to get the right size. This was nicer and sturdier than my previous one I would recommend this product.

As I am searching for a better fire pit spark cover I thought I would let you know about this one. I bought it two years ago. Within the month it was rusted and warped. We then bought a cover to keep the weather from further ruining it. I think that just created condensation and added to the problem. It is useless as it rusted so bad it actually has gaping holes in the mesh. For the money I cannot get over that it is such a piece of junk. I am now trying a stainless steel one. Hopefully that will last.

It's not bad but unfortunately out of all the options available, it's one of the better ones. Still not great

Shipped in one peice. Therefore it was much stronger then the non assembled cheaper ones.
