I bought a flagpole several, several months ago and finally installed it. Where it is placed is far from electricity so no way to get electricity to a light to shine on flag at night. I bought a solar light from Lowe's that is placed in the ground and is aimed to shine on the flag. It just was not powerful enough and did not stay in position and did not last all night. I saw this flag pole light and decided to give it a try. Flag etiquette requires lighting of the flag at night. I am sooooo pleased with this light. I can't believe it. It is an awesome light!!!! Easy to install, and was charged when I received it, but before we installed it, we made sure the switch was turned off and put it outside for a couple days to make sure it was charged completely. I was so please the first night. It actually worked. But I was concerned about it staying lit all night. I get up before dawn most mornings and the first morning after we installed it, the light was still shining!!!! I was so excited! It's been 2 days and it still working great!! Hopefully, this will last for a while. I highly recommend this flagpole light from Sunnytech.... It's awesome!!It is now almost 11 months since I purchased this light. I'm still loving it and is still awesome!! I did have a problem with it though. It stopped working about 10 months after I purchased it. I took it down and 1 of the solar panels had come lose. I was somewhat frustrated, but I contacted the business and they sent me a new one with no charge. They have wonderful customer service. If you have a problem, I highly suggest contacting the company. They will be more than happy to take care of it. Wonderful company!!!

This is the second one I purchased. The first one blew off in a windstorm that blew the light off and it broke, and shredded the flag pretty bad too. It worked great for the over a year I had it and I was very pleased. So much so, I bought another. Once burned twice shy, I was so happy with the first one the second one was a no-brainer. Shines plenty of light on my flag bad night and until that really strong windstorm was working perfectly.

This is the second one I bought for my flagpole.First one was on the flagpole 24/7 all year round.From all the wind bouncing it around I had to replace it as it came loose and had a short in it.It’s nice and bright and shows the flag off nice at night.During the summer it will last all night long from a charge.During winter months it last most of the night.First one I only had to replace the batteries once in 7 years but I did have to take it down a couple of times to clean the solar panels on it.Would buy again.This one seems to be an update one from the first one.

Nice looking unit and light weight makes it a respectable top unit for "Old Glory". Since the mounting hole is tapered, I modified the flag pole's top mounting bracket for a more snug fit. It would have been nice if the taper dimensions were included in the specifications. However, a 0.5 inch mount will work OK.I placed the light in direct sunlight for about 6 hours to charge then installed, switched on, and raised the pole to about 20 feet. The light came on at dusk and was still just before dawn. Illumination was a little brighter than I expected. Ground illumination around the flag pole is much larger in diameter than desired. A shroud around the light would be helpful.Note for Amazon: Requiring the USPS to deliver non-critical items on Sundays and holidays is going too far, especially for free delivery. Postal employees deserve time off, too. This delivery was made on Memorial Day, which was 3 days earlier than originally scheduled.

Usually not happy with the quality of most solar lighting but this product is the exception. Not only does the light have a large footprint but the light lasts the whole night. Excellent product well worth the price.

I purchased a flagpole and thought this would be a cool addition. The light works great and really lights up the flag when it is still and the ground beneath. If you have a flagpole this light is a must. I hope the rechargeable batteries last.
