The Sunpow Metal Detector for Adults Professional is one of the best metal detectors I have ever owned. Living close to the beach, I have owned many metal detectors, most were just toys compared to the Sunpow. Most metal detectors in this price range are merely toys, without the advanced features of this one.The assembly was really easy, taking less than 5 minutes. All the pieces are well made and went together without any tools. The build quality is good, with none of the plastic burrs and tags that you often see on similar products. The pole length is easily adjustable so treasure hunters of various heights are still comfortable using it.The display is large and easily readable, which is great for a guy like me that wears bifocals. No squinting, just good readable text and numbers. And the display has a backlight for those warm summer evenings where you just want to walk along the beach as the sun goes down.The search coil is waterproof so you can’t damage it if you ware walking along the shore and a wave hits it.I like the handgrip as it is well balanced and doesn’t tire out your arm during an afternoon of searching.I personally tested it with various coins and the display is accurate, if it says 5c then you can be sure it’s a nickel, 25c is a quarter, 10c and 1c a dime and a penny. This is a great feature when scanning a busy beach, since with other detectors I’ve had, much of the time was spent digging up bottlecaps or similar.The amazing thing is that most models in this price range get you the detector, and that’s all. The Sunpow has a really nice carrying case, a nice set of headphones, and a great collapsible shovel with its own nice case. It comes with batteries, so you don’t need anything else to get started on your personal Treasure Hunt.

Very little to assemble. Does great for pointing object location. Excellent value. Easy to read screen with any and no light. Very sensitive, can find chewing gum wrappers. Does get heavy after a while. Very easy to use.

I’ve always wanted a metal detector and this is my first time owning one! That being said it was very easy to use. It comes in a very nice carrying bag with a strap and even comes with a small shovel with its own bag too. My son and I went into the forest and found lots of buried metals! It works very well and a great price!

This is actually very nice. We bought this for our 11yr old Daughter top begin her adventures. It's easy to use, accurate, nice build, goes under water, beep effectively and fun. Upon assembly we did try to go by the directions and found that looking at the picture was easier. It was put together in 20 minutes. Be careful for some parts are plastic and snap together. I'd buy again

Very impressed!Ordered this yesterday and it arrived today!FAST and very easy to assemble.This is not my first metal detector. But it is THE BEST!Took it to my favorite hunting spot and this thing did GREAT! Love all the options.The shovel that comes with this is very sturdy.The pin pointer function is actually better than my handheld and works much better than my other metal detectors.In two hours I found over $3 in coins and a sterling silver ring.HIGHLY recommend this for pros and beginners

It worked great for about 5 months . My 11 year loved it . He had the whole yard dug up looking for treasure. One day it wouldn’t power off . We took the battery out and put in a new one but now it won’t power on .

It's lightweight it will find coins up to 7 in deep, the display is easy to read and easy to understand only downsize is it takes to 9 volt batteries,,

The is a very easy to use metal detector. Quick to setup and use. The display very easy to see along with the back light feature to enhance the display. And yes, it does find jewelry and other materials very well. Thanks.

Bought this for my 4 year old grandson last Christmas 2023. It's still working, and he loves looking for treasure with his dad in the garden. So yes, I would say it was value for money,easy to use. Great size and signal quality is OK. Its a fun toy detecting treasure that the pirates have left behind.
