- Extension Cable adaptor wire is an 16 Feet extension wire, just in case the lead wire comes with the solar power products is not long enough. Simply connect the trailer plug from the adaptor wire to the trailer plug from solar products.
- LED Charge Indicator lead wire is a charging indicator. When connected to an output lead wire from 12v solar panel chargers and 12volt solar power battery charger. The charging indicator will light up(green color) when sensing electricity from the solar chargers / solar power kit. So that the final users will know if the solar panel is functioning or not. Simply connect the trailer plug from the adaptor wire to the trailer plug from solar chargers
- .Note: Solar chargers / solar power kits will function only when exposed under direct sunlight.When it is tested outside under strong sunlight, the LED light indicator maybe a little bit weak compare to the strong sunlight.You can use your hand or something else to block the sunlight to check if the LED is light on!
- Keep installation area clean and well lit.
- Install out of reach of children.
- Use in 12Volt DC systems only. Solar Panel voltage is around 18Volt.
- When using the Battery Clamp , the Red (positive “+” ) clamp should be connected to the positive battery terminal and the Black (negative “-” ) clamp should be connected to the negative battery terminal.
- Follow indicated polarity for all connections and verify all connections are secure before use.
- Clean and inspect all adapters and the Solar Power system used with these adapters MONTHLY, or more frequently to maintain peak efficiency.
- Inspect the general condition of the Solar Power System, including solar panel, 12v batteries,solar controllers, and mounting connections. Check for loose hardware, wiring insulation damage or weathering, cracked glass, open housing, cracked or broken parts, loose or corroded contacts, and any other condition that may affect its safe operation.

I was hoping to get the same thickness wire as I got with the original product. The wire does work fine it just seems a little flimsy.

Overall you might give this 4 stars, but for the awkwardness of having to remember the polarity issues. A picture even shows red battery clamp to red battery terminal. One might thing that the workers were reading British texts, which continued use of electron flow from positive to negative, despite that being disproven many decades ago. I had to reverse the clamos.as a temporary measure. Long term I will need to address this issue for sake of my sanity! Another pic shows a 7A controller and 100 Watts, but the instructions give a 4A limit. Both may be true. 18 ga can just barely handle 7.5 A, per charts, but they also state 100W. 100w/13.8v=7.25A. But 18ga w 4A gives a typical, (2 times,) margin of safety and that means my 40W solar panel is a nice maximum for this wire kit. I suggest 50W and 5A as a real life maximum for this 18ga kit, despite that it may handle 7A & 100W under ideal circumstances.But DAng that polarity in thing. I worked in electronics for 50 years, and to work with reversed colors can drive you to drink. Follow *their advice* and Don't. It will just make things worse.
