I bought a washer off of craigslist and it leaked. Out of spite, I decided to try to fix it myself instead of admit defeat and spend the cash on a new washer. I have a limited knowledge of appliances but was able to locate the leaky pump and replace it. I won't say it was easy putting the washer back together, but an hour or two of work saved me cash. Somehow I ended up with extra screws at the end but the washer works great and no longer floods my house.

Perfect item, how long it lasts? who knows, Does NOT come with the retaining clips, and they are expensive for what you get.Pump made a whirring noise at first but it has quieted down some and will probably go away in time.UPDATE, I have been using this for a while now and it is still really really loud. Make a sound like rubber soles on a wet basketball court kinda squeak but continuously while the washer is running in all cycles.

what can I say, watched a YouTube video on how to install this, and presto, did it with very little problem. Honestly the most problem you'll have is taking apart the washer and putting it back together.... the part itself is compact, and easy to install once washer is apart. Have had no problems with it since the install.

Worked perfectly, I was able to install myself with very little effort and absolutely no experience. The hardest part was putting back of washwr.back together. I would.buy this again and item was shipped quickly!
