The high quality Supco Braided Aluminum Heating Element (SH201 ) designed for continuous use to protect drains from ice build up. The Braided Aluminum Heating Element cannot be cut, spliced, extended or altered in any way and is 18 inches long with rating of 115V and 15W. Please be aware that it is recommended to use saftey equipment and to disconnect the appliance from all utilities prior to any service or repair. Please refer to your owners manual to confirm part numbers and for instructions as some repairs require a trained service professional to complete.

Had it installed now since January, 2024 and it's been fantastic. My crappy Samsung frig has frozen up no more. Working like it should now, every thing cold, no more ice buildup. It was really easy to install, although I did have to unplug the frig, take everything out and let it thaw out before I installed this gizmo. But once installed, my frig is back to normal for about $17. Nice!

This 15W heater finally fixed the Samsung ice buildup which caused the fan to clank. I had to constantly defrost the ice buildup every 2-3 months. What a constant pain! Routed the heater cable as pictures on here indicate. Spliced in from the Brown wire one side to the Brown wire on the other side. This has worked for 12 months with no more icing up. I'm so glad this heater cable fixed this Samsung. I was ready to take it to the dump! If you're having the icing buildup in the fan area, if installed properly, this heater cable will fix your problem!

I bought this for my Samsung Refrigerator. Keep icing up and drove me crazy. It been 3 years now and Refrigerator is starting to ice 🧊 up again. I have to buy a new. So be prepared about ever 3 years to replace the heat strip. It work great ðŸ‘, do not get wrong. I also put one in the drain tube SH502 so that will not ice up too. Work great.

If I had found this sooner, it would have saved me a couple years of manually defrosting my stupid Samsung fridge twice a month. It's been working perfectly for two months now, keeping the upper rubes of the evaporator ice-free.

Perfect for lousy non defrosting refrigerators, you pay 3 to 4 grand for these fridges and they are badly designed.

It worked perfectly for the samsung fridge problem that I had. The fridge keeps on freezing up on the top and this heater wire resolves that. The wire is very long and I was able to cut it to a shorter size.
