I have a large, round, dark-stained wooden coffee table with an iron circular base and iron legs. It's very handsome and very heavy. It sitsmid-way between my recliner and my couch, and I often like to pull it closer to where I'm sitting so I have a place to put my drink or the remote or whatever. I recently got a new, very thick shag rug which looks great but made scooting the coffee table impossible. I've used furniture sliders for years and thought they might be a workable solution if I could find some the right size. Although the feet on my table are only about 1" in diameter, I ordered these 2.5" Round Super Sliders because of comments that they slide better than all other brands. Turns out, the dark foam cushion on the top side of the sliders is close to the color of the table and they appear to be the base of the table legs, barely noticeable, even on the the ivory colored rug. Even better, I can now easily pull the table closer or push it away with one hand and no damage to the carpet. Love it!

I bought these to put under the legs of my coffee table. They work great. The table is heavy enough so it sank into the foam pads and stayed in place. I have kids and a thick carpet. Trying to move the table to vacuum up chips crumbs and lost M&Ms, is hard. The legs made a nice indent in the carpet and it takes a lot of muscle to move it. So I don’t every time I vacuum.I bought these coasters and they work as expected. It is really easy to move the table now. Actually a little too easy. Now when I put my feet on the table, it slides away. 🤣I was also rearranging my bedroom and used these coasters for different things. It made it really easy for one woman and two boys to slide furniture around. We had to keep taking them off and switch between furniture so that was annoying. But I didn’t need more of these and it worked anyway.I tried to put them under our dining room chairs. Same thing, big indents in the carpets so it’s hard to pull out the chairs. They are heavy and my youngest has a hard time. Most of the time, he just squeezing himself onto the chair without any room to breathe. It’s also not easy to push the chairs in after we’re done. I thought I’d try these coasters on one of the chairs. As heavy as the chairs are to move, they are too light to “melt†into the foam pad. So they wouldn’t stay under the chair legs. But it was a nice thought.The bad thing is that they are ugly. And they collect crumbs and other things because of the way they are made. I don’t understand why they couldn’t make the foam pad cover the entire plastic disc.It’s an eyesore. But then again, how often do you look at the bottom of your coffee table.?!Second picture shows the indent the discs leave on the carpet which are minimal. Still able to freely slide the table around.

These were the perfect size to slide our chair with wooden legs on the carpet. We had four more so we decided to see if they would work on our round side table that has storage and is on the heavier side. Even though the bottom is rounded and only a thin piece of wood makes contact with the ground, these stick and move this heavy table. Even my wife recovering from fractured ribs can move it easily with no pain.

Bought these for a bed to protect the carpet. Never used for "sliding", but after 4 weeks this is what they looked like. The foam had pushed through the VERY flimsy plastic backing and stuck to the carpet. Probably ok for very light furniture, and one or two uses if you're "sliding". Waste of money - should have bought something from Bunnings.
