I’m 37, and we could find these in all the vending machines when I was younger. I HAD to get them for my kids (8 and 10), and I use the extras to throw into birthday gifts!! All of the kids have loved receiving them!I’ve never actually had the balls where the pieces were eraser material, but I like it because they’re a little easier to put together for smaller hands.

My daughter's school does not allow desserts for birthdays, instead they make a celebration with special crafts and such. They do allow the kids to bring a small trinket or some other celebratory item to share with the class. Kids give stickers, those scratch color things, wiki sticks, etc. my daughter and I looked at a number of options here on Amazon and she chose these. She was thrilled with them as were her classmates and teachers. We haven't actually used them as erasers yet, though I see other reviewers commenting on that. For a great, colorful, soft toy that will keep kids and adults interested for quite a while. This is it. That said, the puzzle gets truly difficult to put back together. I actually just came back here to finally look at the pictures, which helped me get it back together immediately. I think these are ideal for party favors, Halloween treats, etc. I'll definitely recommend them!

The eraser were cute. I’m a teacher so I bought them as a gift for my students for “meet the teacher†night. My room is decorated in bright neon colors. The erasers I got so not match the advertised pictures. The colors are more muted.

I got these for my students that were doing state testing. I wanted something soft end would not make a lot of noise if they dropped it or using it for stress relief. It is a little maddening, trying to get it put back together.

I like the challenge provide to put the eraser into a cube once taken apart.

I bought a couple packs of these to give away at my child's school valentine party. They are smallish at 1 1/8 inch per side. The whole thing is both a puzzle and an eraser. The puzzle part is actually quite tricky unless you memorize where each color fits. The pieces have letters on the outside faintly and that can also help you remember where they go.I thought this would be a unique favor to give away. I gave an extra one to my son and he seemed sufficiently impressed, but at 6 he has a hard time solving it! Older kids would find it easier.

Kids thought the puzzle part is fun but because of the material the pieces break easily
