- Belden 1694A Low Loss Serial Digital Coaxial Cable is an RG6 coax designed to carry several video signals including analog, 4x3 digital (SD-SDI), high definition (HD-SDI) and even 3gig (1080p/50 or 1080p/60). The center conductor is made from true 75 Ohm 18AWG solid copper.
- This cable is 100% sweep tested and is ready to meet today’s requirements of 6 Gbps data transfer.can be used in professional broadcast applications.
- Center conductor: 0.40" dia. bare copper
- Dielectric: 0.180" dia. foamed PE
- Shield: 100% aluminum foil/polyester tape/aluminum foil and 95% coverage tinned copper - give them maximum protection from EMI and RFI,for excellent noise rejection
- PVC outer jacket - for durability and long-term protection.
- 50 Ohm BNC connectors are used with 50 Ohm cables. 75 Ohm connectors are used with 75 Ohm cables.
- 50-ohm cables/connectors work well with old analog video formats. If you are looking for high-quality video output, 50 Ohm will not give you a high-quality level.

I needed some sdi cables I could run between some TVs for an event but I’ve used stiff cables in the past that didn’t lay right when doing a long run so I was worried about how these might function. I’m happy to say they were better that’s expected. The cable quality is perfect for what I needed. They aren’t too thin so they didn’t kink easily when running them which was nice. The connections seem solid so I’m thrilled with the functionality.

Placed my order on Aug. 5th and received them August 6th around 1:30 pm. Love those super fast deliveries from Amazon. One person left a comment that these are not Belden cables and if they were they should be labeled, so I took them time to prove it to future buyers with posted pictures. Way to go Amazon & Superbat!Thank you! 🎥

It’s SDI it’s a tank of a cable and used this more as jumpers rather than build then for long runs like I normally do.

Most of my other 12G SDI cables are Canare install cables. I needed something last minute that I could get quickly so I ordered this one. It is very flexible, and so far (5+ mo), the performance has been flawless.I do wonder how the cable-to-connector interface will continue to hold up compared to the connectors I prefer when building cables, but again, I haven't had any issues so far.

I bought several of these cables to run video feeds of 150 feet. I don't see any signal degradation or delay with these cables. They are consistent and have a really solid SDI connection on both ends. Highly recommend if you need SDI!
