I ordered this for my 2009 Pontiac G8 to perk the engine up a little. I followed the instructions and downloaded the update then installed the 87 octane tune. Everything worked exactly the way the booklet said it would. The car is definitely different with the tune and seems to jump much better when I accelerate. I have a RotoFab CAI on order and will re-tune with the 93 octane CAI tune after installing. Literature says I will get ~20 additional HP. Can't wait. Love the product - easy to use and works as advertised.

Even dialing the 1-2 shift to "Stock" in the "performance" mode, I'd get a harsh 1-2 upshift after agressive driving. I believe the adaptive shifting was bringing on this problem. Superchips tried to blame my transmission, but i've never had problems before and it works perfect with the "stock" tuning.I returned this product. Tech support eventually wouldn't return my e-mail inquirys.

Simple to use, gave me the performance I wanted as well as ability to track some stats and figures. The company had good support and updates. I have nothing but good feelings for this product. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to tinker around with their car, but does not know the engine in and out. I used this with my 2008 Pontiac G8 GT (6.0L V8). Noticed improvement in acceleration, as well as engine performance on highway driving. Liked the ability to toggle the cylinder shut down for my car.

purchased this product w/high hopes but was very disappointed. The product could not program my truck's computer due to a "missing seed key". According to Superchips my truck's CPU had been programmed in the past at some point and needed that programmer to unlock it. I bought the truck from a dealer when the truck was 3 years old in 2002 w/all stock original parts still installed. So, I know that since i owned it it has never had a programmer on it. After a $100 at a dealer to reprogram my computer back to factory settings the programmer still would not work. I contacted the seller Midwest Aftermarket and Cass was very helpful in expediting my refund.

This thing does work and helps with power but DONT EXPECT a super-charger in a box...power boost is not significant unless you also have headers, exhaust, air intake, ign. upgrades, etc... Gas saver mode is a bit better on gas also but you feel the slight power loss too...

Let me first say that I had to talk myself into buying this over the course of three months. I spent hours reading thread after thread of internet banter about using this product on a Pontiac G8, all of which was positive. Decided I had to try it. The internet was not wrong, you MUST have one of these if you drive a G8. I used the 87 tune on my completely stock 2008 Pontiac G8 GT with a couple of choice options as suggested by my internet research, and it really truly smooths out the performance of the car.-The throttle delay from a standstill is gone. No more 1/2 second wait before the gas kicks in.-The transmission is now like butter, instant shifts both up and down, no more lag between gears, no clunky downshifts.-Highway driving is incredibly different in that gear selection is much more frequent, instantaneous, and appropriate for your driving habits.-I turned off the active fuel management, and it smoothed out the engine performance on the freeway.-I chose to leave the shift torque at the stock value, as the superchips value included racing style shifts that lurched the car forward each upshift. Very cool, but for driving around town, not necessary and harsh on the car.All in all I'm super happy, and in fact believe that the superchips tune will actually extend the life of my car. I've also read about increased fuel economy, but only time will tell that!

I have a 2009 G8 GT . Woke the car up . The transmission is firm. 93 tune turned out awesome. No complaints here
