Not sure what people are talking about but if you're doing some RGB lighting and the waterproof version, get these quick connects! Just follow the instructions use the pliers when needed to crimp and you'll be on your way to a nice LED setup!

One out of ten may partially work. The connector has 4 thin metal pieces, each piece connect the light string in one end and wire at the other end. These metal piece is paper thin and sharp pointed at each end. The end that connects to the light string copper contact sometimes cannot penetrate the covering clear silicon less chance to go through the copper to make the contact. The end that connects to the wire is better but barely. If first time the punch does not go through all 4 x 2 sides, it means the pointed metal is bent, you have to throw the connector and use a new one. Many times, only three wires connect, one is not, you then will have to thrown that connector away and try again. Besides the paper thin metal pieces that tend to bend, the plastic cover is not good neither. Once it is snapped in and you have to reopen it to retry, forget it, the plastic cover will not snap in again. I made 2 success connection out of 20. Save your money, avoid frustration and failed projects, it's not worth buying and using these connectors.

These connectors are excellent. I have tried so many others but nothing comes close to these, the ease of use, flawless performance etc. etc. They work the very first time you put together, no more fiddling around to make them work. Make any size strip in minutes. I used these to finish powering them uphttps://www.amazon.com/your-orders/pop/ref=ppx_yo_mob_b_pop?_encoding=UTF8&gen=canonical&lineItemId=mpsgotpmtmssuny&orderId=113-0949204-8429009&packageId=1&returnSummaryId=&returnUnitIndices=&returnUnitMappingId=&shipmentId=UvWTNqrl0

I've used the waterproof ones and the non-waterproof ones. These are great!I was having problems with the non-waterproof set until I read the recommendation to install the strip upside down... After that, they worked perfectly in the first try every time.Additional suggestion... Get some JST SM 4-pin connectors to connect to the wire side... Great for quick disconnect if moving or rearranging your setup in the future.FOLLOW-UP: check the connectors before using. I had a couple 3-pin connectors in my order. Luckily, I still had enough to complete the project, but this can be frustrating if you don't notice and you're trying to figure out why the LEDs aren't lighting up.

TLDR: The wire works but it is poor quality. The connectors don’t work at all.Long version: I have done a lot of electrical work on my vehicle. And so I am somewhat knowledgeable about electrical work. I know Amazon is a bad, if not the worst, place to source electrical supplies as they are known for bad wiring. But I took a chance because it was recommended by a YouTuber.1. The wire is not copper but aluminum and copper. You can tell as it is silver in color.2. The connectors have small metal contact pieces that are way too easy to break upon installation, as it requires force to clamp them down and that same force placed on your wire can break the contacts.

Every single one worked as it should. Just take your time and have good lighting. Be sure to open the lid on the light strip side 90 degrees before inserting the light strip in. Also remove the adhesive tape from the back of the light strip. I forgot on one connection but it still worked. On the wire side be sure the wires are laying in the brass grooves properly before you snap it together. I had one wire that didn't and it caused one color to not light. I could see through the cap that one wire wasn't laying right. I just unsnapped the lid and moved the wire and re snapped the lid. Works great.

when extending (using a length of 4 pin cable) LED tape lights, this connector is much easier than the alternative of soldering cable pins together. You have to be careful to separate the cable conductors slightly so that they line up with the connector pins and you have to match up the tape lights at the cut marks with the connector pins. With a little careful prep, these connectors save time and effort. I have also been able to re-open and re-use these connectors when there was an issue or I did not line up the connections properly. I have used them on multiple projects.

I could not get these connectors to work for me. I went through 6 of them and changed the wire out, still no luck. I removed the silicone strip to see if that would help as well, nothing. The best that I could get was that it would make the green lights turn on, but that was it and that was only one time for about half a minute. It could have been an issue with my waterproof led strips, but the fact that it worked for a minute seems to lead me to believe that there was an issue with the connectors. Also, after you open and close the connectors a few times, they would end up breaking on me.

Raccorder des bandes DEL, celles-ci trop épaisses pour le produit.

The connectors do not hold the led strip. 7 out of 10 pieces are not 4-pole, but 3. I am very disappointed. I have no claim to the product. I ask for a refund
