I recently installed new tile in the kitchen and replaced carpets with hard flooring in the rest of the house. Laminate and wood flooring are great, but are susceptible to scratching caused by moving objects. Notice I did not say “moving HEAVY†objects, because I’ve seen wood damaged by items I would not classify as heavy. So, after installing new flooring, I knew we had to be careful moving objects. I bought enough felt backed furniture pads for every chair and table and furniture piece and I will review those separately. This review is for the larger “Furniture Mover†pieces, specifically bought to help put back our bigger furniture pieces such as a buffet, china cabinet, dressers and our behemoth of a refrigerator. A quick observation of key pressure points for the furniture or appliance to be moved ensured proper FELT placement. And since this was a new floor, I was sure to sweep clean the path I would be taking so that no grit got stuck to the felt and even attempted to cause damage as it moved. The absolute hardest part is getting the pieces correctly placed under the item to be moved. On the bigger pieces, I asked my wife to place the pieces while I lifted (and for the Fridge, I used a fulcrum to get leverage). These felt pieces were nice and large both in length/width, but also in height, which means they are thick enough not to get so compacted by the weight of the object being moved that they no longer move freely. Not a problem for this product! Where the felt side slides across the floor, the opposite side is nice grippy rubber and it mostly stays in place once the heavy item is placed on it. Once placed I easily moved all the items with the greatest of ease by myself, including monstrosity couches, epic dressers, towering bookcases and the aforementioned behemoth fridge. All moved from one side of a room to another and several were moved room to room (no transitions in the doorways). My wife was also able to move items by herself, which she was very happy to tell me about, many, many times. When I had carpets I used the smooth backed Teflon furniture movers for years. Now I am equally happy with knowing these felt movers are just as useful and efficient.

The hardest part is getting them under the furniture. Once they are under the furniture, it slides across the floor. Very heavy items will require more push or pull, but they move with one person doing the pushing or pulling. These have protected my new sheet vinyl floor while moving furniture and appliances.

I like to work out in my room, but my dresser gets in the way and I'm always afraid of damaging the floor every time I move it. I bought these to help remedy the problem, and they appear to work out pretty well!While it's easier to slide a heavy piece of furniture across the floor, they have managed to shift a little if I'm not careful. They're also a bit bigger than what I thought (totally my fault) but do the job splendidly. I also readjusted one and the groove that was made is slowly reshaping to a smooth surface, which is pretty cool.

We do a lot of work at the American Legion. When decorating the lounge it seems we are having to lift the ladder continuously when hanging balloons from the ceiling.So my engineering brain thought to get these sliders and put under the feet of the ladder and just slide it, in stead of picking it up. I'm a hero and the men love it. It works so easy now and time goes by faster.Great idea for sure.

Having spent nearly £50 on two different sets of wheeled appliance rollers that didn't work for us, I was at my wits end. Our new utility room has vinyl flooring, and the very heavy washing machine has to be steered ever-so-slightly into its space. Whenever I tried to manouvre at any angle at all, the heavy machine would just slip off the rollers. The answer was to spend a few pounds on these pads. The machine could then be shoved around however was needed to steer into position under the worktop. As they're so slim, we can leave them in place under the machine ready for when it needs to be moved out again.A tip: making sure the vinyl floor was perfectly clean and free from grit, then spraying a little furniture polish onto the floor helped these pads to slide as required. Remember to wash off the polish afterwards.

Lo usamos para mover una cama-escritorio muy pesada (unos 300kg) en un piso de madera. Levantando ligeramente cada esquina se colocan los deslizadores y entre dos personas es muy fácil mover el mueble, el piso permanece sin un solo daño ...y sirven para varias ocasiones. El mueble tuvo los deslizadores por unos 3 dÃas y todavÃa sirvió para mover otros muebles. Por el precio le recomiendo
