I was pleasantly surprised to find that these stick well enough to the legs of a coffee table to make it slide much more easily over a high pile carpet. I figured they would slide right off but they haven't yet after a couple of weeks of use.

I'm using these on a small ottoman on carpeting. Makes it so much easier to move the ottoman out of my way without picking it up.

Not a fan of the self-stick feature so I leave the thin piece of paper on the adhesive part. If uncovered, the adhesive part gathers dirt and hair and then looks nasty.

we had put new flooring down in the kitchen and had added felt sliders to the chair legs. It seem like we had to replace them frequently. Mr husband was not too thrilled with putting holes in the chair legs as he was afraid the wood might split. I happened to come across these that glued on like the felt ones and bought a set to try out. We liked them soo much we ended up ordering several sets through Amazon. They slide easily over the floor and so far no signs of wearing them out.

I had to move a heavy TV console that had MDF at the core. So, on my own, it would've broken apart if I dragged it on carpeting if there was nobody else on the other side picking it up. I put these things under each corner, and easily slid it around multiple times as I replaced my area rug. It was so easy. It took 5 in to stick on and then the (heavy) unit easily slid into place & I could make tiny adjustments without worrying I'd damage the item. I previously did try sliding this over carpet myself and still have a damaged spot thanks to doing that.

I've purchased a couple dozen of these over the years so that my furniture slides easily! They work just like they are supposed to..

These would work first except the adhesive self-stick feature is not aggressive enough to be effective. I tried sticking them on with Super Glue and that works okay but isn't very attractive because it oozes out and shows. Also, my chair legs are quite slim, but still too big or too small for the sizes available. If you buy these, measure the diameter of the bottom of the leg and try to buy them them just a little bit bigger. If you get them too big, just a slight tipping of the chair will cause the slide to pop off.

These sliders are perfect for furniture, and they work on my vinyl flooring. I was unsure that these were worth the try as the price was so much lower. They are not as thick, heavy or firm as the usual 'blue' kind, but have proven to do the same job. I cannot comment if these would work on very heavy furniture - like big sideboards, etc.
