This didn't work for my fridge even tho it is the correct part so I either got a bad one or wasnt the right one. Ordered from different person and fridge works well again

2nd time purchasing for my old garage fridge. The last one worked for 3 years before it stared giving me the thought it was starting to have issues.Not sure if there was a failure with the component as I couldn't see any issues after inspecting. Issue for me was that freezer worked but there was little to no air flow in fridge due to an ice buildup and/or blockage.After the swap and a thaw the fridge is up and running again.Genuine part is around $80 locally and it lasted around 12 years. So even if I have to replace it every 3 years it will still be cheaper. Takes minimal effort to change.
