I’ve been using the Suptig Portable Charger for my GoPro Hero, and it’s been a total game-changer! The 7800mAh capacity gives my GoPro plenty of extra juice, so I don’t have to worry about running out of battery during an adventure. It’s compact and lightweight, making it super easy to carry around in my bag. The charger works perfectly with my GoPro, and I love that I can keep shooting without any interruptions. If you’re looking for a reliable power bank to keep your GoPro charged and ready to go, this one’s a solid choice!

Used the charger for and extended time today for the first time. It powered my GoPro 3 on record for 7 and 1/2 hours and still had 2 of the 4 lights lights lit indicating amount of charge remaining. That would have taken 8 of the regular batteries. I started with a fully charged battery in the camera. It was still charged after recording was completed.

Got this battery bank especially for a chest rig while bass fishing. I had the GoPro set "Hind Sight" for 6 hours, and recorded about 7 videos (none of them any longer than 3 min). The GoPro battery remained at 100% the whole time - while the Suptig bank dropped down to 3 lights (at 75%). This worked great for my needs. But I can see this lasting for 12 hours - IF you have your GoPro set for "Hind Sight 15 seconds". It's a little heavy. Can't see anyone using it on a helmet rig. I'd stick with the chest rig. You'll be happy with the long battery bank time.Is it Waterproof? That depends on if you're transporting it, or actually using it. As another poster said - when you're actually accessing the ports with cables, and using it, this thing IS NOT Waterproof at all . The ONLY way it may be "waterproof" is by screwing the nut that came with it on tight. The O-Ring will close and seal the main unit. This would be helpful IF you're going through a rain forest and need the battery sealed to withstand getting wet. But for normal use of the USB and USB-C ports, you HAVE to remove the waterproof screw. At which time... it's exposed and is NOT waterproof at all. I give this product 4 stars because of this "waterproof" claim. Other than that, it works great at keeping your GoPro charged.

I videotape 1 to 2 hour concerts. I would often put my GoPro Hero 4 on the pianist or other unique angle. The normal GoPro batteries would only last about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes and they would die, even with the screen set to turn off after 2 minutes so that it used as little power as possible. The camera would often die before the end of the concert, or if it was a 2 hour concert with an intermission, I'd have to change out the battery at the break.I got this Suptig 7800mA/h battery bank and I never run out of battery now. It makes it 2 hours no problem with plenty of charge left (again with the screen shutting off after 2 minutes). Unfortunately, at the moment I don't recall how much charge is left after 2 hours, but my guess would be it could easily do 4 hours or more of recording. However, if you do time-lapse shooting, I have GREAT news. Yesterday and today I set up my GoPro for a construction build and set it to Time-lapse 2.7k, wide angle, with it capturing an image every 1/2 second. I kept the screen set to turn off after 2 minutes to conserve power usage, and after 12 hours of recording (didn't touch it again until I turned it off), I still had about HALF battery life left (2 of the 4 lights are still lit up indicating 26-50% of battery life left). That was awesome!

I bought this battery hoping to use this as an external battery source for my go pro 11. It does the job IF you keep a go pro internal battery in it as well. I didn't want the internal battery in it because of overheating issues with the go pro. This battery does not push enough juice out to run the go pro without the internal in it as well....it shuts down saying to put battery in or plug into external source with at least 2A. I have bought an Anker battery and it powers my go pro just fine without an internal battery, but it is not waterproof. With my internal battery inserted with the Suptig as external source as well, it overheats at around 23 minutes. With the Anker plugged into the go pro with no internal battery, I can go through 3 full baseball games and still no problem. Do not buy this if overheating will be a concern because of the internal battery needing to be inserted on account of this Suptig not having enough to juice to start up the go pro by itself. I wasted my money.

These are great when you need to shoot videos and you're not where you have access to wall plugs for constant electrical hookup.

Mounts great with GoPro and extends battery life exponentially. It does add some weight but the functionality and water resistance make this a great value for the money!
