We've had this Drum Beater for a few weeks and it's been a fun addition for a young beginner drummer who just wants to try everything. The wood is smooth and the lanyard is nice so we can hang it while not using it. You can clearly see the seams in the drum portion which is fine for us.

The pros:The handle has a lanyard at the end, which is helpfulIt is a nice size and weightCons:The felt head is very thin, so the hard surface under it can be felt pretty easily. I don't think this will hold up well to daily use. Because of the durability long term being questionable, I had to knock this down to a 3.
