All our TSA locks bear the Red Diamond logo. Each TSA lock is assigned a special code from TSA001 to TSA008, which is recognized by the TSA, CATSA, and other security agencies. Easy steps to change your combination
Step 1- Open the lock
With default code 000, press the reset buton to the right into the groove with a pen.
Step 2- Push in the Reset Button
Make sure the button is pushed into the right side, with the lock's logo facing you.
Step 3-Set Your Combination
Move the dials to your new combination. For example the new combination in above picture is 123.
Step 4: Release the Rest Button
Push the reset button to the left, so the button goes back to its original place. The setting is all done.

Just got the locks today, seem great, well built, they don't just pull open like the last TSA locks I got (from a different company). As many here have said, one opened fine and one did not, resulting in me having to go through every code from 000 to 999, and, well, it was 999... Rather annoying, maybe reset returned locks before reselling, or at least make sure it's actually set to the default 000? Great lock, just was annoying to get one of them open. I recommend.

I’ve only just received this and set my code, but by the feel it seems sturdy enough… as sturdy as the brand of similar lock I had and then forgot in Italy. :-(First, the code - like *any* of these locks - can only be reset *if* the tumbler is first set to the lock code. If not, it is not possible to press the reset button. Thus, if you’ve locked it, spun the tumbler, then nobody can reset your code without knowing your *current* code.Second, for those saying it is impossible to actually set the code… see above. You probably have not properly set the code to the factory default of 000. If the lock is not using the factory default, you didn’t get a new lock.Third, if you can’t press the reset button without also moving the tumblers… I don’t see how that is a fault of the lock. It is trivially easy. Don’t blame the lock for your lack of care and/or basic dexterity. Note: if you press and slide the reset button as the instructions say, the lock is in “reset modeâ€â€¦ you can release the reset button and just focus on the tumblers to set them correctly per your preference. Then hold the lock *above* the tumblers near the cable to return the reset button to its normal position. No need to fret about moving the tumblers and actually setting the code to an unintended number.Really people, this is not hard…

My old boomer eyesight is getting bad and reading numbers on my old travel locks was difficult. These locks are very easy to read. The contrast between white and black makes undoing this lock super simple even in badly lit hotel rooms.
