My original cable broke can't find the exact so I found a cheaper version on Amazon and bought two. Both cables and adapter work exactly how it should and they should last me for awhile since I barely use my Surface Pro 2 for anything other than being my Windows tablet. I only use my Surface Pro 2 for when I need to learn something by watching a video, doing work on the other computer, or watch a cooking youtube video while I attempt to make a perfect meal. So for this adapter and cable to last it will be a very long time until I find a replacement and hopefully I would and if I don't I'm glad I bought two since it will remain my laptop bag amount my other electronics.

Worked fine to charge for a while, but 4 days short of a year of purchase now it isn't providing any power. Some minor issues with staying in place and getting the contacts in properly, but nothing worse than the official charger was.Description says it has an 18 month warranty, but there's no way I've found to contact the seller, so it's useless.Unsure if I want to get another. It's not that expensive, but lasting only a year is real disappointing.Update: Spent some time with a multimeter to try and troubleshoot the issue, in case it was just the easily replaced cable and not the adapter itself. Couldn't find anything wrong, continuity and output voltage all seemed good. Plugged it back in and it was working normally. No idea why it stopped but at least it provides power again.Update 2: Just under 2 years after purchase, and the cable going into the magnetic head split apart and gave a very big spark in doing so. No way to keep using it safely or to repair it as the break is right at the adapter. Not sure its really on them though, as the original adapters also had that happen a lot. Still cheaper than a lot of the other options that often die just as fast.
