About this item

  • 【Thicker Rotors】Surron offers two types of rotors: the old one, which comes with LightBee, has a diameter of 203mm and a thickness of 1.8mm. However, due to its thinness, this rotos lacks durability and rigidity. To address this issue, Surron has introduced a new thicker rotor, also 203mm in diameter but with a thickness increased to 2.1mm. This new disc boasts improved durability and rigidity.
  • 【Genuine】These rotors are 100% genuine original factory production with "LZ" imprinted on the surface.
  • 【Compatibility】 The screw hole spacing on the front rotor differs from that on the rear rotor, making them incompatible with each other. Please choose the appropriate rotor when making a purchase.
  • 【Packing List】 1 rotor, 6 screws.

Ordered this for my extra wheel set that I'm working on for dirt riding. I wanted the thicker rotor for a bit of extra heat dissipation on the trail. The fit of this rotor is good and it matches the bolt pattern perfectly. The finish is a bit less good. The entire rotor is sanded and it doesn't look very clean. I prefer the smooth finish on the stock rotor. Time will tell if it rusts but I'm just not a fan of the sanded finish. This rotor is certainly a bit thicker than the stock rotor. When I went to fit the wheel to my Surron, it initially didn't fit in the caliper. I had to remove the caliper and brake pads, then spread the pistons out farther. I also had to let a tiny bit of brake fluid out of the bleed screw to get the pistons out farther. Then I reinstalled the pads and caliper and this rotor fit perfectly. You will probably need to do this too if you have been using the stock caliper or similar width calipers. Especially if you install fresh pads along with this rotor. The stopping power feels pretty much the same as the original rotor since they are the same size. The only performance boost this thicker rotor really offers is the improved heat dissipation from the extra material.Overall this is a good option if your brake rotors have been heating up too much. If I were to do it again, I would probably get a larger diameter rotor that is also thicker. This is a pretty small upgrade from the stock rotors and doesn't have much of an impact on braking power besides just letting you heat up the brakes a little bit more. I would recommend this if you like your stock rotors and need to replace it. This also came with screws which is a nice touch.
