I am always replacing my sustain pedals not because they wear out but because other people borrow my keyboard and they always seem to forget to pack up the pedal. This is a good inexpensive pedal that works very good. I ended up buying a few more to keep on hand and when I loan out my keyboard I send one of these along and if it doesn't return I'm not out much.

I went to record at a studio and the pedal was the wrong polarity. Darn it! With this pedal, you are covered. Give them away to everyone that needs a pedal. Great price!

This pedal came in well packaged. The pedal is well made. The action on the pedal is adequate and feels good. The pedal itself is chrome coated metal but the rest are hard plastic. It has some weight to it so can stay on the floor but not too heavy though. The underside has rubberized feet to stay stable in ground. There is an on/off switch present on the right side of the switch. The cord is of adequate length and has a 1/4 inch plug on the end. This works just fine with my Yamaha keyboard. Overall it’s a great addition to a keyboard or electric piano to add sustain.

I don't know if mine was defective or what, but literally after about 30 mins of using it, it just stopped working, even after flicking the polarity switch. Avoid.
