Meet SUSTEE
SUSTEE is a modern, Japanese soil moisture sensor. The blue color indicates that there is enough water in the soil, and the while color indicate that plant is in need of watering. SUSTEE features a minimal aesthetic that doesn't take away from the beauty of your plants.
SUSTEE
Color
Has your SUSTEE turned white? That means it is time to water! After watering, the white insert will change to a blue color. This indicates that there is enough water in the soil.
Soil
SUSTEE can be used with almost all plants that grow in soils with a certain level of moisture retention. This includes akadama soil, black earth, bark, coco peat, peat moss and vermiculite.
Insertion Depth
When inserting SUSTEE, please ensure that the Ω mark found on the stick is entirely covered. Please also make sure that the transpiration opening is visible if the stick is needing to go deeper.
Time
The time it takes to change color will depend on the amount of water given and the water retention level. When using SUSTEE for the first time, please water generously. The small stick takes approximately 3 minutes, the medium 15 minutes, and the large 25 minutes.

I think these are the best ones so far!! I bought my first ones a few years ago and now I have ordered refills for them. I ove them because I can tell now if ly plants beed water or not. Now I can say I have a green thumb! Rest a sure , I will order more refills!!

Great to be able to visualize soil humidity. Saves a lot of my plants. Cost is not low, but I haven’t find better or cheaper alternatives

These work well but they deteriorate quickly and they’re expensive for how fast they deteriorate.

My green thumb is mostly black I think. I always have a terrible time remembering to water my plants and have had more than my share of dead ones. Since I started using these Moisture Sensors I haven't had a plant die. As long as I remember to look at the sensor my plants have been saved from an early demise. I haven't had a one fail me yet - I highly recommend.

These are perfect for those with a brown thumb. They remind me to water, but not over water my plants. Worth the buy!

I’ve used these for a number of years now and really like that I don’t need to guess when my plants need a drink. They’re super easy to use and leaving them in the pot is less hassle and mess!

I contacted the company when a refill came disassembled upon removal from packaging. I wanted help to see if I could fix it myself. However I was told to contact Amazon but since I bought it in March it’s just a bit after 30 days so I’m out of luck. I really thought ippanka was a better company than this.I am changing my rating because the company did respond to my disappointed email and will reimburse me for the one damaged refill.
