The Zoop Novo is a great value, easy-to-operate dive computer that is now easier to use then ever! The new design uses the intuitive 4 button navigation found on the D-Series instruments, as well as an improved easier to read display with an enlarged matrix screen that offers better contrast and readability.

In my opinion, it competes with Leonardo Cressi in terms of cost-benefit. The Zoop Suunto has a better display and backlight and more menu navigation buttons (which might make it a little more expensive than the Leonardo?). Zoop has the look and feel of a pro gear.

this watch is definitely for the “amateur” diver .. but it can be use as a regular watch & it’s an “EYE CATCHER” .. it’s simple & non-complicated to operate .. YouTube has lots of instructional videos .. the accessories are fun to use .. if the strap is to long, a watch expert will adjust accordingly to wrist size .. black & lime are the best colors .. 5-stars!

The computer does a good job keeping you alive, but the buttons are extremely hard to push. Brand new battery drains unnecessarily fast when not in use.

I was looking for an entry level dive computer, something easy to use and figure out for an amateur diver. I have used this on several dives and love how easy it is to use! It is very basic and honestly that is all I need right now. I have all my dive information in one place which makes it easy to record in my dive journal later on. I highly recommend. Screen is easy to read and I have had no issues whatsoever. If you are looking for an entry level dive computer to start with, consider this. It is a good quality product that is easy to use and easy to read.

I'm a recreational diver, average 12 - 15 dives a year. I've owned and used Oceanic, Cressi Leonardo, Cressi Gratto, but I prefer the style and usability of this Suunto dive watch over all the others I've used. I've also noticed that most of the dive masters I dive with use Suunto products. The Zoop Novo offers all the features I really need. Next level up is the Vyper Novo which offers a digital compass and the ability to pre-program multiple gas mixtures. I do dive with Nitrox, but typically use single mixture and it's easy enough to update mixture on Zoop Novo if a do switch, I don't "need" the ability to pre-program different mixes. I always prefer a separate analog compass over a digital compass, much easier to use and eliminates the need to switch between programs while I'm diving. I'd rather focus on the dive than trying to switch between functions on my computer.

This computer does everything I need. I've used it on a dozen or so dives in the last 4 months, max depth 99'. You can read up before you use it or just hit the water. It activates itself at about 2' and guides you from there. Beeps at you if you are ascending too quickly. Beeps at you if you are about to pass no decomp bottom time. If you do, it builds in your stops. It held me at 15' for some extra minutes on a dive where I went over. I feel very comfortable with this computer. I've been diving over 40 years and finally got a computer and I like it a lot. I bought the cord to connect it to a PC but it didn't fit. I want to get one so I can keep a landside record as well as on the dive computer. I sent the cord back and contacted the seller. Here's what they said in reply:Certainly, we have them fulfilled by Amazon if you search this asin B007P4FML6It is confusing because you probably got the old zoop cable. The new zoop novo takes the one like the watches. They call it the d series.

Living in Ohio I've had a chance to use it yet. But playing with it it seems to be a very easy to use.

I do have a small wrist, but the strap was ridiculously long and would not stay on my wrist. Could not figure out how to use the Dive computer. It does respond when you get in the water but did not know how to call up any information after Dive.

Works perfectly! Does everything a basic dive computer needs to do. It looks a little large on the wrist, but I chose it specifically for the nice large digits which are great for older eyes that now need reading glasses to see up close. I also noticed that it's also the rental dive computer of choice of many dive shops in the Caribbean.
