I do not understand how someone can give these good quality uninsulated butt connectors a negative or less than a 5 star review. They're very reasonably priced. They come in a nice size assortment. They're very easy to work with and produce a very nice and strong crimp. The people giving these butt connectors less than a 5 star review probably don't know how to crimp or are using a cheap quality crimping tool. To get the best crimp out of any wire terminal or butt connector is to use a good quality crimper. I have 2 crimpers that I use to crimp these butt connectors. They are Thomas & Betts model# WT111M and Klein Tools model# 1006. I get great looking strong crimps with either of these 2 crimpers. You also need to know how to use the crimping tool. Make sure you use the correct slot of the crimping tool for the wire size you're crimping and that you have the butt connector centered in middle of the trough before crimping.

This assortment of connectors is very useful and also great quality. These connectors along with high quality shrink tubing will splice even small wires in a flawless way. Well done!If you are splicing automotive wiring especially small diameter say 22 ga, these are necessary. Will buy again

I don't know what all these negative reviews are about. The product I received looks to be excellent quality. The butt connectors are heavy and look to be made of thick metal. If you believe the packaging they are copper coated with some type of tin. I bought these to repair the hatch wiring harness in my 2004 golf. I tested the connectors tonight with some 18 gauge wire and a crimping tool I had previously purchased. Providing you careful strip the wires and twist the ends before inserting these connectors crimp down nicely and feel like they have a very strong grip on the wires. Time will tell of course how they hold up but from what I can see I don't imagine these wires are going anywhere. Put a little heat shrink over them afterwards and I think that's a wrap. The only issue I have with these is the quality of the case seems to be kinda flimsy but honestly I can't really complain about that considering the price point. I would def buy these again.

They arrived in good condition but haven't really had a chance to use them but they look to be of good quality.

I used these, in conjunction with some silicone wires to extend the cables on my jump starter from NOCO, as the existing cables were too short to use correctly. Nice product!

Most crimp connectors I've been getting from Amazon are thin walled. Some also have springback. What I mean by that is that they tend to open up after crimping, not getting a good solid connection. These couplers are really good. A joy to work with.

Needed a few extra inches of length on my starter cable. It came down to spending hours removing the starter or splicing on an extension. I already had the crimping tool, so I gave the splice a go. Truck cranked right up first try. The shrink wrap provided was of exceptional quality. Everything came out so well, I wish I had taken the time and made some pictures.
