This headcollar will not fit pups with short snouts, like pugs or bulldogs. If you are looking for a no-pull collar for a short snout dog, please check our store for a prong collar. Recommended breeds include: Borzoi, Greyhound, Poodle, Whippet, Doberman Pinscher, Pharaoh Hound, Collie, Bull Terrier, Afghan Hound, Dachshund, Airedale Terrier, Saluki, Italian Greyhound, German Shepherd, English Setter, Irish Setter (Red Setter).
How to put on SVD.PET headcollar
Put on snout strap
Let your dog get familiar to the headcollar. Then, put the snout strap over your dog's snout. Move the silicon protector to the centre.
Put on collar
Adjust the strap to the appropriate length then put the collar on your dog. Ensure the collar is positioned high and snug behind the ears.
Adjust and lock snout strap
Use the lock buckle to adjust the length of the snout strap. Ensure the loop is properly fitted. The strap should be snug but not too tight.
Attach dog leash
Attach the dog leash to the leash ring. Begin your training with short walks in familiar surroundings in your yard or a quiet area.

Bought two, they both came on time and in good condition. Giving five stars for now for quality of the material. They feel really sturdy, waiting to try them on the dogs !

I tried the name-brand "gentle leader" and hated it. This works so much better! The snout adjustment is so much easier with this one. It works great. Walks are now enjoyable again. No more sore arms from struggling to control a headstrong pup. I definitely recommend this product if your dog walks you.

Problem is that the slip lock to create a muzzle fit keeps sliding back down then it doesn't work until I adjust it again.

The color is great but the strap around the nose doesn’t stay snug. I can adjust it & within 10-15 minutes, the strap is loose. It’s a lot more complicated to put on than the other collars I’ve used. I bought it because of the color but if it doesn’t work, that was a stupid reason. ☹ï¸

It works okay but the lock does not lock. Do not trust the lock to stay. Your dog will easily be able to slide the lock down and slip this off.

It takes hours of work to get your dog to accept a gentle leader leash. When you lightly pull on the leash it causes the dogs head to start trying to the left but since they want to go straight they slow down to stop the pulling on the leash. So, get the loop over the dogs nose using a treat in your hand as you slip the loop over their nose. BUT they will start to use their paws to get it off so you must quickly remove it. You don't want them to remove it by themselves so get it off quickly. Then try again and again and again each time using food and praise to get the dog to accept it for a longer period. We now can walk about half a block before Daisy tries to remove it. PATIENCE!

The clip that keeps the noose around the nose fastened tightly slipped from the get-go. We were able to add a binder clip to keep it from being completely useless, but shouldn't have to rig a brand new item.

I have a young doodle that likes to pull. I’ve tried all kinds of collars and harnesses that were supposed to help. But one time with this collar and no more pulling! It’s a life changer. My dog can still drink and eat with it on. And it is NOT a muzzle.

Muy práctica y funcional, a mi Golden Retriever le ha resultado más cómoda qué otras qué ha tenido.Si es algo frágil el broche de cierre alrededor del cuello, pero si solo lo cierras cuando lo use tu perro no hay problema, hasta ahora.Vale la pena!!!
