I bought this for a project where they'd get scattered among several workers and several types of gun, and they not only all worked, but none have broken yet - that's something I was a little worried about since they make a high pitched *tink* sound when they hit each other, indicating they're pretty hard. The magnet could be a bit stronger - socket bits and other heavy bits aren't as secure as drivers, but I'm not dinging it a star because that's a tradeoff that would make it more difficult to change small bits.We installed a whole metal roof on a pavilion on them and every one is still left over and ready to work more.

For $1 a bit holder, I really can't complain too much. The quality of the metal is about as heavy and sturdy as the Milwaukee bit holders. The magnet, however, is about as weak as your average ryobi bit holder. I perfer my bit holders to require pliers or a very firm grip to remove bits. But again, at a price of $1 a piece, you can't beat it.

Magnet is NOT as strong as it should be,so expect bits do fall out.

I have put to use about 1/2 of the order. They work great. Fit and finish is very good. The retaining magnet seems strong but you can still remove the bit. Have one in every tool box. I also used some of these with some old screwdriver handles. I removed the old worn out driver shaft and press fit these into the old handles. Stubby and regular. I just carry my bits and extensions in the box with the modified handles and change to whatever tip I need. No reason to carry a bunch of different screwdrivers. I would buy again. Also have used these in my Dewalt 20 volt brushless impact driver, driving 3 inch screws in wood and have had no issues with them breaking, twisting or deforming.

Definitely not magnetic!!!Constantly loosing the impact bit being held with these. Cheap, and if you loose one you're not worried.

The magnet in these bit holders are strong enough to hold a Phillip's screw tip in, but won't hold a 1.5 inch Phillip's screw. I'm so used to being to place a screw on the tip and it just stays there while installing screw after screw. This was really a disappointment. I tried each of the 8 or so I bought and none of them would hold a screw or pickup a screw that I dropped. I grabbed my 20 year old bit holder and finished the job.

..oh yeah. They look sexy in the photos but that doesn't always mean squat on Amazon but when they arrived they are as nice IRL as they are online. The magnets are plenty strong to hold bits without worry and the fit and finish is impeccable. And I only wanted to spend a few dollars and with this pack I have enough to leave on in each of my cordless drills and still have enough to leave some of them laying around the shop instead of wasting time searching for that one mag tip you can never find when you need it. And keep in mind if you want to use an impact for heavy duty driving, you should NOT rely on a magnetic bit holder but rather use the proper bit although these work fine for anything but driving into oak etc. You won't be disappointed.

The magnetism is so bad that even a single drywall screw can't hold it.
