Good quality and magnetic base are really strong, strong enough you could mount on the side of tool cart or lid while open. It holds the sockets in the try so they're not flopping about when opening my socket drawer. The base magnet on the bottom (which I guess is the same magnet that's holding the sockets in from the top) is plenty strong enough to hold it to the drawer bottom to keep the holder from sliding about as well.
