I bought this to replace the cheap, plastic Stanley level that I've had for years and always suspected was just slightly inaccurate. Well I was right because this one worked perfectly! It's a very nice step up while not breaking the bank. It's solid, easy to read, has a magnetic side and a side with a groove to make it easier to measure pipes and other curve surfaces. Five stars.

This level comes in real handy, with the benefit of inch increment markings for out of level, saving time either guessing or using the tape. The price is right, product repeats.

Let me level with you...this level is on the level, but does not tip any scales. Mine arrived with a small crack/scratch in one of the bubbles - which makes it a little uneven to proportionate levels - it's a bit hard to read; imbalanced. It seems to measure accurately - when lined up with my other level, the levels are equal. Do not rule this out, however.Bottom Line: This level measures up to the job. It is equally as good as other levels - and the color (red) makes it easy to spot in my too bag. It will help you get things lined up - I'm being as straight with you as possible.

" As long as it's within the lines" is not good enough for me. I want the thing I'm leveling to be as close center as possible. Otherwise, why bother? This 12" level is to replace one I've misplaced. But a 12" level is perfect for me and the things I do. A 6" is too difficult to get precise, and more than 12" is awkward. Happy, happy, happy!
