Deflects heat well. Easy to install. Bit expensive but worth it if you need to deflect heat of patio/deck heater. No issues have used multiple times in last 2 yrs.

I have the Tri-Fold MAX performance reflector. I was debating getting this one or some of the others that were thicker metal, or larger panels but I wanted to get something that would arrive quickly. I am not disappointed at all - this addition to our outdoor patio heater (48,000 BTU Hampton Bay) does a fantastic job at focusing the heating area to the area that we want. The panel covers between a quarter and a third of the overall top deflector circumference for our unit, and this is more than adequate to get the heat to reach about 10 feet out at a medium flame setting.I'm looking forward to seeing how long this lasts and how much it'll save our heating costs. 10/10 would recommend this simple add-on for anyone who regularly uses a patio heater but doesn't need to heat the full area around it.

It's a great product that does exactly what it says it will do. In my case, I have a 7'x10' confined outdoor patio with a 12' high ceiling, three surrounding walls and a 4 foot pony wall along the 4th side. So it is open air only on one side above four feet. We used to have our heater set right in the middle of it. That worked really well except the heater was right in the middle of everything, so there was no place for a table and it was visually distracting when talking to someone seated across from you. I purchased this in hopes of moving the heater up against the 4' pony wall and using the heat reflector to keep the heat directed towards the patio. It works wonderfully. You can put your hand on the outside of the reflector and feel that there is almost no increase in temperature higher than the outside air. All that heat is going somewhere, which appears to be in the direction the product says it goes. In my case, I actually think this heats up my space better than when we just had the heater in the middle of the space. Wind is not an issue where I have it placed, so if it is where you're at, I would take precautions to keep it out of the wind.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical about this product at first. How could something so simple really work. We like to sit out in the evenings and watch movies, and since it's just me and my wife, we're only on one side of our patio heater. It seems like a total waste for the heat to be spreading out 360 Degrees around.So when I saw this, I thought how could that possibly make a difference? That is until I bought it and installed it. We probably go through or propane tank now every 4 or 5 weeks, instead of every two. You can put the heater on much lower and it is still extremely warm when you're sitting on the front side of the reflecting Shield.Yes you will find other ones out there that are much cheaper than this one. But it is solidly built and easy to install. And I don't know about you, but when it comes to things that are going to be heated up and lit on fire, I don't want to cheap out. This thing is the real deal. Don't waste your time on cheap imitators just buy this one. It really does work.

Before I put this shield on, the slightest wind pushed the heat away. Now, it stays in place- near my heater. It works so well, when it’s calm (no breeze), I have to lower the temperature on the heater. So I guess this shield will pay for itself in no time with the money I’m saving on propane 😀.

This is my second reflector from Sweet Heat. I also have the large one for the stand up heater. It came perfect and works great. The table top model came with out the silicone tips on the clamps that attach to the top reflector. Hopefully I can find a way to get them replaced. If I did not see the ones on the large model I would have not known they were missing. Other than that it works as described
