I bought this for my classroom and like it very much. I think it’s important that any classroom has a big world map. Even smart kids these days hardly know the difference between Kentucky and the friggin’ Kalahari. The flip side of the map has it in a different, beige-ish color scheme. I don’t think the product description explains that. The lamination is light but protective. A nice map. Hope this helps.

The quality of the map is good. I picked-up a backer board and added frame. It looks good in our family room wallðŸ‘The map is wrinkle resistant..I like the functionality and information content. As a traveler this map is very helpful for me.

It's thin, lightweight paper, which would be fine if it had a higher-quality lamination. The edge of the map tore as I was trying to unfurl it. The plastic sleeve it ships in is much tougher than the map itself.Some of the country colors are way too similar. There are lots of orangy-tan countries that are almost impossible to distinguish between. The shades are just too similar, and there may even be several adjacent countries with the same coloration. I'm sending this back and getting a Nat'l Geo map.

I have this hanging in my hallway, on the wall. I find myself geographically challenged… Now when I need to figure out where something is, I have a go to map. Even the grandkids enjoy looking for countries and oceans.
