Any leak at home can be monitored, equipped with ultra sensitive detection probes and a 1 meter (39-inch) long sensor, you'll not only be able to detect changes in water level, but also harder to reach places at home.

the drain pipe from my dishwasher leaked under the sink. I purchased to give me an immediate alert if it leaks again. Easy to install and configure.Remote alerts thru the SwitchBot app and Alexa. Can't get it to work with Homekit using homebridge.

Let's you know if there is water leaking. Or in my case if the sump pump stops working. Has a alarm and can see on my cell phone.

I bought this to detect water in case my water heater leaks for the 3rd time. Had a bad flood from it and it destroyed my basement. I tested it and setup the app and when water is detected I get notified by the app that water is detected. Hopefully, I don't get any notifications.

I've been meaning to get a water alarm down there for a few decades, lol. Then, SwitchBot put one on the market, so the time was now.The dehumidifiers are on a table overlooking the sump hole. Switchbot includes a variety pack of double stick tape with the water sensor. So I double-stick taped the water sensor to the table, and let the sensor dangle into the sump hole, well above the water level, where the water should never rise. Really so easy.

Receiving notifications from switchbot app works perfectly fine. But if you want to use it in routines to your SmartThings or Google Home, you would have to go into it and refresh it every single time just to run a routine, since it doesn't refresh every time with switchbot app. So if you are using the sensor to run a pump to fill up a water tank or something, it will not work due to the sensor not refreshing on either smartthings or Google home. Besides that it's pretty good. Would be 6 rating if it worked like it said it would.

Great water detector. Easy to set up. Use for detecting leaks in my large fish tank and filter. Extended wired sensor provides flexibility in sensor placement. No hub needed like competitors. Wish it came in a multi pack.

Do not buy this. Our sump pump overflowed to the point of a half an inch of water in our basement. This device was completely submerged underwater and never alarmed once.
